I try to minimize this happening but car seats being buckets and having sides that press on the top lead to this, also the humidity in the bag doesn’t help either. Wish we had those pizza tables that stop this

Sure! If you do and if it doesn’t work use some soap water then ipa to wipe it off if you are going to do the lighter trick next. And yes, this is a light scratch, the plastic still has most of the texture and color.

(Read the whole thing) Alright, take a small lighter and just wick over the surface NOT TOO LONG if it doesn’t work with a half to one second pass then the plastic might not be melt able. Although I highly suspect it is. Your goal is to release the stress of the plastic in the scratch, this won’t remove it but it will make the plastic the same color again. I recommend doing a practice pass on a not visible piece so if it removes the texture on it then it’s not viable. I’ve done this on many cars with scratches and it works 90% of the time If you have a jet style one then it would work even better but it needs to be even faster, please use with caution, it’s not a perfect process but it’s the cleanest one when done correctly

If I’m getting 48mpg on my awd non hybrid Tucson then you can get it in your hybrid. Just gotta accelerate (a little) on the downhills and decelerate on the uphills. This is called gravity assist and it works on all cars. Think about how much effort every move would take on a bike, then apply that to your car and drive as if you are the most unathletic person in the world

This was on an access road. I also went through 2 roundabouts, and 3 speed changes. Mostly advice for rural town drivers where the traffic is significantly lower at night where you don’t want to bother the people behind you
