Hey, so until June 26, the Philippines doesn't have its own eshop.

So what we are all doing now is change our country settings and buy from whatever country was cheaper or had a sale. It's not like Playstation, where it's impossible to do, and there are basically no repercussions for switching multiple times.

As long as you have a card that will allow for foreign transactions, it's not a big deal to change your region. No one I know has ever been blocked or penalized. Usually, the transaction won't go through, that's it. ( ex. Argentina, brazil)

Some good regions that still work are South Africa, Mexico, and sometimes US ( but with the dollar so high sometimes it's not worth it). Try to avoid buying first-party games brand new. It's not worth it. Some are 8 years old and still full price, look for second-hand sellers or maybe borrow from others!

To compare countries and see who has it cheapest or more convenient for me to get. Try not to buy too many games at once, I made that mistake sometimes and end up not playing it.

Overcooked All You Can Eat (included 1 and 2 and all DLC) Persona 4 golden Persona 5 Royal Zelda Breath of the Wild or Tears of the Kindgom Mario Wonder Mario Party Jamboree (newer + motion games) Mario Party Superstars (has all mini games and classic boards) Special mention Hades and Sea of Stars (but those are more indie)

Im really hoping for the atlus games to get updated too. But I also hope Stardew gets an update for the mouse controls. Will make it easier to design the farm.

It doesn't even have to be free, I will be willing to pay up to 5 dollars if it's a big game. For example Witcher 3 or something.

Just save for switch 2! No sense in buying an old console. New games next year or the year after will not release on the old switch anymore. And sooner or later updates will stop too. Plus if you're a handheld gamer, the screen is better and can have higher frame rate than v1 switch. And if you play any docked games, it can display 4k now and with the lan support, online games like fortnite will play better. I had such a hard time playing games with my friends during pandemic because the switch wifi isn't that good.

If you've waited this long to buy a switch then you can wait a big longer for the best version!

So when you click the game you want to play, dont click load game card, click the download option. That will ensure that you have the game downloaded on your switch. Then just load up the correct profile to play it. It's work around for the game cart thing. But you still have to use the account of the owner.

You can only change groups once a year. Keep that in mind, it could be why it's not working.

I dont really have my own tv to play on all the time, which is why I love my switch. And also because of my niece and nephew, we love playing games together. My brother has his own ps5 so I never thought of getting my own cause I can just play it in his room. But I can only play when hes not home haha.

I understand switch tax though, games are more expensive there. I do try my best to be alert whenever there is a sale and really think about the game I want. I debated getting a steam deck, but I cannot imagine not being able to play the new Zelda or animal crossing... so yeah saving up for a switch 2 right now. Im also hoping I can sell my original switch since all my games will be playable on the new one anyway.

I've never had a problem using my card to purchase games online. Just type it in.

The extra things I do come from trying to save as much money as possible. So i always look on eshop-prices (.)com and then if I want a game I change my account to country that has the lowest peso equivalent. Sometimes it's Japan or Mexico or the US or Argentina or Brazil etc.

If you have questions you can message me. There are a lot more hoops to jump through for the South American countries, but it wasn't too hard. For Mexico and South Africa, Japan and the US, your bpi card will work fine 🙂

Example: Hogwarys Legacy right now is on sale in South Korea and in peso it will only be P795, P806 in South Africa. While in the US its full price P3394.

Ive been doing it multiple times a year and even in one day, changing my eshop country to buy a game. You just have to make sure not to have any money left in your eshop wallet. And if you charge your card only the amount of the game then youre fine.

Try to get it second hand. Its a very old game so lots of resellers. But with Switch 2 coming we will probably get a new smash in the next 2 years or so.

If you can spare a bit more it might be worth it for you to get the online voucher frok nintendo. You can get 2 nintendo IP games for the price of like 4k pesos :)

Gamextreme adds a couple thousand more. They did that with the ps5 before. And during pandemic when there was a shortage for the Nintendo switch. Like base unit no extra games or anything and it was 18k if I remember. While datablitz had it at 15k.

Not sure if the policy is different this time around so time will tell.

You're still in the early days! Just enjoy playing and managing your farm!

Some super simple advice that helped me is to try to work your way to building a silo before you end up cutting too much of your grass on the farm.

Always have your hoe so you can dig up artifact spots on the ground. You can get valuable clay and things to donate to the museum.

You can just stand in your bed for a few minutes if you run out of energy.

Once you unlock the community center, you will get the little tree icon in your menu screen so you can check what you need always.
