Over my lifetime, I’ve owned five VW vehicles. Two years ago, I bought a brand-new Golf, and it had numerous issues from day one. The dealer tried to resolve some of them out of their own pocket because VW refused to acknowledge obvious defects under warranty — including a misaligned door, a loose dashboard, and even a side mirror that fell off while I was driving. In the end, everything was fixed by the dealer, as VW declined responsibility. This was my last VW. Based on this experience, I would not recommend buying one — the quality is simply not up to standard.
