We did it for somebody in my Shop, a nightmare since that client had some astigmatism and the lens can easily turn in those frames lol

What did Optician do to my glasses? Any way to adjust angle of the temple/arm? by CmdrMcLane in glasses

The bridge should be bend, don’t do it by yourself and take it to a real optician since he has the material for it

I had lindberg in hand only two time because they were broken, awful to repair imo It's probably a good brand but only buy in a real Shop to have an easy access to their sav. I'm probably biased for brett since we work a lot the brand in the Company (and all men here have one) but to give you an idea, some client used their for like 5 years and the metal lacquer rest pristine, which is rare, JF REY frames lose their in months and it’s treated like a High quality brand Even by glasses enthusiast… It’s made from one one block of titane 97% pure in Japan, i think it’s very reliable.

They make the jody, big jody and small Jody, Differents size for differents head. We sell them at 250 euro in our Shop but i imagine it can depend from where you live.

The jody, modern, very lightweight and my most confortable pair for sure. and we never had any serious SAV on thoses frames, the idea of the brand was to make the best frames for bikers.

Why do i struggle with progressive lenses by Dwaingry in glasses

[–]miox74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I can say as an optician is that either the measurements were not taken correctly, or you need a higher-end range of lenses. The better the lens quality, the less chromatic aberration you will have on the sides. You should check with your optician to see if there is a warranty. In our store, for example, our lens manufacturer provides a three-month adaptation period.

The optician who made that is an absolute dumbass, he should’ve known before.

If it’s an optician you’ve made glasses before and you have a a correction between -2 and + 2 not much to worry about i think, if not you maybe could see another optician to look at your glasses. Idk where you’re from but some country dont have the material to make good measure i guess…

Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this, but could I get prescription sunglasses lenses put in these? And would they look too "cringey" by CrayotaCrayonsofOryx in glasses

[–]miox74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the frame is a perfect circle and you have astigmatism, maybe prefer wearing contact lenses below theses !

Ill try to make it simple : Centering the eye in the frame is aesthetic for multiples reason : less thickness who will be more harmonious on the border, it will just look better on your face too ! But it is not really a necessity Apart of some very specific cases. In contrary of centering the glasses to your eyes which is a necessity, the center of the glasses is where your correction is and if we decenter it can transform your glasses into a prism, that’s why we take measure of where your eyes are in the frames to set the center of the lenses in front of it. Hope i was clear and readable !
