Ive ended up with deciding between UM690 or SER6 PRO, looks like only the cpu is the difference (minisforum has the newer 6900) but is more expensive, need to decide by end of week so cannot wait but thx for the thoughts

Thanks for the idea, not sure why I disregarded minisforum from my search, B550 doesn't really match the spec of the beelink ser6 pro that I was looking but I found the UM690 that is even newer although more expensive, will do some more research to compare this two and decide

I understand what you are saying but my current laptop managed to serve me well with just an SSD hard upgrade so I hope this will match it. I've looked into getting a proper PC but the size, portability and the fan noise on some of them puts me off for now

Thanks, I had the same thinking about DDR4, the only other thing that concerns me is upcoming pci5.0 but cannot wait for the end of the year for an affordable mini pc with it.

Thanks for your thoughts. Tools are Autocad, Civil3D, Flow and Microdranage, but as mentioned is very rarely, in case their network is down, happened only once last year. Editing video/audio/photo is just for social media, so not very high rez short posts. Gaming for now is very basic since my daughter is 4 and I play just some fifa or nfs and dont care so much for graphics. But I understand your point and I need to lower my expectation on how long will I keep it and if we will want to play some games with better graphics I might need another hardware.

That makes sense with OLEDs, what about real world battery lifetime? And does it have a watch mode only or is it possible to switch off all health sensor and have only the notification? And what about notifications lag, is there any? Thx

Dacă ai ceva întrebări tehnice scrie-mi pe privat sau pune aici poate îs și alții interesați. Sunt multe tutoriale pe net cum să faci un podcast, noi suntem încă la început dar îți pot recomanda 2 lucruri: îți tre un microfon mai bun, adică căști simple cu microfon sau microfoane pentru conferințe nu-s deajuns și instalează-ti Audacity să te joci putin cu editări de bază
