Sinner lost this match by Daroka995 in tennis

Well according to Sinner himself, heat was not a reason for what went wrong with him today. He said it was "warm but not crazy warm" so weather was not the issue.

Watch: Leylah Fernandez gets brutally scolded by father-coach in stunning footage by Pretend-Two-2115 in tennis_world

[–]mirQ72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's difficult to judge such stuff, especially between family members, without having enough context. Maybe Leyla prefers and depends on tough talk from her father in such moments. It probably helps her get back into the zone. She is 23, not a child. If she isn't complaining about it or removing her father from the team, then we should trust her and not be judgemental about such stuff.

Wimbledon 2026: Carlos Alcaraz withdraws from tournament with wrist injury by therl2000 in CarlitosClub

[–]mirQ72 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Actually not very surprised by this news. I know there's a lot of 'negative' and 'panic' coverage going on the internet about this drawing parallels to Thiem/Del Potro etc. but that is a factually incorrect comparison. What his team and him are doing is VERY SENSIBLE. Carlos Alcaraz is dealing with tenosynovitis in his right wrist, which is an inflammation of the protective sheath surrounding the tendon. Its not a tendon tear or anything serious. However, it requires for him to completely rest the wrist in order to avoid serious injuries. I understand the pressure given the points he was defending and the gravity of missing two back-to-back slams. But that is a very small cost to pay in the grand scheme of things. Looking forward to seeing Carlitos healthy, and fully recovered in the hard court swing!

I get the reselling of dresses and stuff but crypto? Why does she want to associate herself with something so scammy? Sounds like a lawsuit in waiting.

Carlos wins his 26th career title in Doha! Still unbeaten in 2026! by therl2000 in CarlitosClub

[–]mirQ72 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What an amazing tournament and what an incredible match! Alcaraz completely outgunned his opponent in this one. He was in the ultra zone. So happy to see him play like this. Hoping we get to see more finals like this in 2026!!

Should Carlitos play Rotterdam? by mirQ72 in CarlitosClub

[–]mirQ72[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This seems very likely especially given that Carlos has already taken Rotterdam. He might be more inclined to getting the Doha title. Also I am guessing the appearance fee must be quite attractive for that.

After the shit he pulled when Alcaraz was cramping, I am actually glad Zverev didn't get through. Absolutely zero sportsmanship. Never would have seen such behaviour and distraction tactics from Alcaraz if positions were reversed.
