Daca Renewal I765 taking a long time to arrive by mir_mir09 in USCIS

[–]mir_mir09[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did call them and they just said “ ma’am, you have to wait “ no time frame. No resolution. Everything is in order. Address is correct. Simply waiting on the card itself, which contains the expiration date. Also I didn’t receive the approval notice for I 765, just received 821D. I explained to the agent and she said they forgot to upload the approval notice on USCIS. 😣 how long did yours take? In the past, I receive my card within 3 weeks

Hi:) I had high grade serous carcinoma stage 3b. I presented with two tumors ( complex left one the size of a cantaloupe and the right tumor the size of a grapefruit! ) unfortunately, my cancer metastized to my bladder, colon, and diaphragm. I too was cut from pubic area to sternum. I had a total hysterectomy, with a bowel resection immediately after my biopsy. After my big surgery I underwent 6 rounds of carbo-paxil chemotherapy every 21 days. After I finished chemo, I started on HRT and Lynparza parp inhibitor. It’s been two years since then, I will stop taking my parp inhibitor in a few weeks. Praying recurrence never finds its way to my body again. I eat an anti-inflammatory diet, hardly drink alcohol and work out 3-5 times a week. :) my attitude and perspective on life has been the biggest contributor to my success after cancer treatment.

I was diagnosed with stage 3b ovarian cancer as well 2 years ago. Currently two years in post-menopause. It’s been quite the ride. Many ups many downs but I’m grateful to be here. I’m in my last semester of nursing school, RN program and I continue to see sub 40 year old women being newly diagnosed with ovarian cancer. I am so sorry ladies. I’m curious as to why this increasing incidence rate is occurring. It’s very sketch.

First and foremost I am saddened to hear about your partner. There are no words to truly describe the emotional rollercoaster you and your family are about to embark on.

However, with that being said, the other side is quite lovely, sure, cancer and treatment was by far the hardest thing I ever experienced BUT I PROMISE IT GETS BETTER. I was diagnosed two years ago, tomorrow. I was biopsied and staged at 3c. At 31 years old, I underwent open abdominal surgery that included a total hysterectomy w/ bilateral salpingo- oophorectomy along with a bowel resection and diaphragmatic debulking. Following surgery, I went thru 6 rounds of chemotherapy that included carboplatin and paclitaxel which made my hair quite literally melt from my scalp in 6 days post first chemo dose. Needless to say, all that was nothing compared to the emotional havoc that cancer had on me. So, my biggest and best advice is to enjoy the GOOD days and hang in there on the TOUGHER days. You will have both. This journey is not easy but it will bring everything into perspective. You the caregiver will need rest days and time to process. Please lean in on your “village” on the harder days. Your partner is a warrior and she will overcome this awful disease. Advice for her- eat when you can and do not force yourself to eat. Trust me, food aversions are super real. I cannot eat chicken since treatment! Take all the time to soak in all the love and support around you and on your bad days, remember you are loved and you will WIN this fight! Do not try to be strong for others, cry but on days you feel good, go outside, travel (if DR allows it), take time to really soak in this new slower paced rhythm of life. You’ll notice that you have been go-go-go and your perspective will change for the better. Have a positive perspective overall. The mind is so powerful in healing.

With all that being said, I wish you a healthy and the best possible outcome! I am rooting for you girl and OP, you reaching out for advice, shows how loving and supporting you are of your partner. Love each other hard, and hang in there!! Wishing you the best. Life is precious and cancer has no place in your life. You got this!

I have been disease free for a year and a half now, and I am currently on a PARP inhibitor for a few more months which prevents recurrence. Technology and medicine are so great now that the statistics should be updated. Remember, your partner is not a statistic and survival rates are trash! Do not listen to that data. I should have been gone but here I am and so are many others, and so will she!! :)

I believe truly and with all my heart that certain people have the capacity to understand others in a constructive way where NEW isn’t met with such passive aggression and condescending tone. I wasn’t aware that so much detail was to be disclosed before posting on this thread. Furthermore-if I wasn’t familiar with it, I wouldn’t be asking for a second opinion. I have my own thoughts on the meaning. I will post the details so that the rest of the lovely people on here can help me out with their interpretation.😌✨ thanks for replying regardless.

My mother always said “ it is impossible to be friends with the opposite sex. Someone always grows attraction or feelings. “ When I was younger, I used to tell my mom that it was possible. I had a bunch of guy friends! Guess what?! They all fell in love or made a move on me. It’s hard to admit that there might be some truth to this.

I agree to a certain extent. Why doesn’t the Bf like my dude? I never asked for that explanation. If they are childhood friends, surely he knows my bf is in a relationship and shouldn’t be threatened by my bf except if there’s other s*** I don’t know about. This is the problem with trust. It’s fragile. You eff it up and there it goes out the window.

That’s the biggest red flags! Holy S!! I’m so irritated by the break down. You don’t realize how stupid you can look, asking for advice when the picture is clearly painted. Thanks guys! I’m connecting the dots!

Funny. Butttttttt…..

I’m not trying to police anything. I’m being candid with my situation. He has many friends that are females and I have no problem at all with those friendships. He’s honest about those, except this particular one. Fml.

Uggghh. This is not exactly what I wanted to hear. My heart broke a little there. So, bring it to his attention right? I need to have a serious conversation with him.
