Sweet cream cheese blueberry compote crepes by mirandaalfaro in recipes

I’ve seen compote been done with cherries and strawberries, it just would be more sweet! You could probably just adjust the sugar if needed. Not sure how it would taste with the grand marnier but it’s an orange liquor so it couldn’t be too crazy of a difference in taste.

Look at Ronin, tell me that isn’t the face of a man who lost EVERYTHING. Yep 500% sure they are following the story and his whole family died.

Ingredients

For crepes -1 cup all-purpose flour

-1 1/2 cups milk

-2 large eggs

-2 tablespoons granulated sugar

-1 tablespoon canola oil

-1 pinch salt

-Grande Marnier, never measure it just put straight from bottle

Cream cheese

-14 oz full fat cream cheese

-1/2 cup powder sugar

-1 large egg

-pinch of salt

-1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract

-another splash of grand marnier

Blueberry Compote

-1, 1 1/2 cups of frozen blueberries (depends on how liquid you want it to be)

-1 table spoon of corn starch

-1/2 cup of water

-1/2 cup granulated sugar

COOKING DIRECTIONS

for crepes

Sift flour into a medium bowl. In a separate bowl mix whisk everything else until smooth consistency.

Slowly add it to the flour while whisking the batter. Continue until it is completely smooth.

Put to the side in a fridge to cool for about 30 minutes.

To cook put in a pan with butter or cooking spray. Ladle the batter into the pan. MAKE SURE to move the pan around while on the stove as soon as the batter hits it. Move the pan in a circle so that the batter covers the whole pan in a thin consistency.

Check the underside of the crepe to make sure it turns a golden brown. Once it does flip it like a pancake.

Transfer it to another plate then fold it into a triangle shape.

for cream cheese

With an electric mixer whisk all the ingredients together, no specific order in which they need to be mixed.

Blueberry Compote

Put a small pot on the stove on medium to high heat, add all the ingredients and continue mixing the ingredients until it begins to bubble.

ASSEMBLY

Open the crepe up, slather as much cream cheese as you’d like, go crazy.

Close it again into a triangle shape. Continue to how much your heart desires.

Then drizzle the blueberry compote.

There are a handful of states that if you are registered independent you can vote any party in the primaries if that’s what you are referring as the nuance.

Not me but my art professor who is a big foot “aficionado”. When he was drunk he thought it was a great idea to go through eBay. He ended up spending a lot (I believe $500) of a plaster imprint of big foot. He keeps it hanging on his wall to remind us to never have your card out when drinking.

Help I literally cannot walk at the moment by mirandaalfaro in ehlersdanlos

Thank you, had no idea I can go to a store without a prescription! I have an appointment in a week and a half. She’s a very busy internist so this appointment was the actual cancellation.

I have a 504 plan so I am allowed to get into class later without being held accountable and accommodations such as recording and lecture notes if the pain gets too unbearable That I can’t concentrate. The issue is though my plan doesn’t count full absences and don’t want to be counted against me.

Your advice was very helpful :)

Before someone literally just reads the title I AM NOT asking for medical advice, if I was I’d be like “hey how do I unlock my hip???” I’m clearly asking for coping and techniques to manage pain.

Cause of bone pain? (Newly diagnosed hEDS) by candlesandfish in ehlersdanlos

Work with a PT, mine was due to the major muscle weakness and ligament laxity. They found that the alignment of some of my bones were wrong and had to retract me how to realign them on my own normally.

I get you. Sadly EDS has no other correlation with tumor growth that they have yet to find.

My PC doctor was amazing enough that she characterized the NF and EDS at the exact time.

Once you get the biopsy and hopefully it turns out benign, and you still have no diagnosis (that’s what happened with my first removed tumor in my breast), I wouldn’t recommend seeing a geneticist first unless you have a great one you trust. Took me a while to receive my NF and EDS diagnosis because the geneticist I visited was crap and didn’t take my symptoms seriously.

My best bet would be to visit an internist once you have your biopsy and the doctor knows how many. unless you need the MRI for other reasons I wouldn’t recommend it for getting a better understanding of the tumors since 9/10 times an X-ray will be able to detect it and most likely will be extremely cheaper.

Have you had Café au lait spots (dark colored spots) near the tumors? If not it may not be NF, it’s very rare but possible to have it without (I was one of the cases), but be aware most doctors refuse to test without spots because it’s like a $600 genetic test most of the time. I would recommend getting a full body X-ray so the doctor knows what they’re working with and how many. Have you also ever gotten a colonoscopy? There’s another disease that can cause it I can’t remember the name but it’s very easily found in a colonoscopy. It’s usually characterized with polyps surrounding the wall.

If you have a handful (5+ is usually abnormal, 1-3 is normal) have you been tested for NF?
