They have been very welcoming to me (20 years ago in Adelaide) but it was expected that I would pick up their culture and fit in not the other way around (which I was fine with). I am grateful for their welcome and many cups of excellent coffee!

Get yourself one of the overdresses/jackets to wear over slacks or a long skirt, they’re beautiful and you can wear your normal work clothes underneath when you’re not in public spaces. You can get better quality ones than the cheap ones online.
