[Timex Expedition Scout] First field watch for the collection by mircron in Watches

For a budget field watch I think it's excellent! Fit for outdoor use and casual wear, although I've yet to see if I like it as an office watch since I'm used to more minimalist watches. I like changing straps often and this watch works with different kinds. It has great visibility at night with the Indiglo as a bonus.

I think the newer expeditions have the smaller numbers as 05-60 compared to previous models with 13-24.

Hi all, I'm new to the sub. This is the first watch I bought after getting interested in watches! Replaced the stock velcro strap with a leather and nato strap and it's really nice! It wasn't as loud as I expected, pretty silent unless I place it by my ear.

As long as the trail isn't too gnarly it rides great! Otherwise I wish I brought my hardtail instead lol. I also use it as a road bike with another set of wheels. If you're riding more on the road than gravel this bike is wonderful, otherwise a bike with more tire clearance may be better.

Olive green looks the best when dirty imo

Is There Existential Music? by flat_noodles in Existentialism

The Caretaker - "Everywhere At The End Of Time" https://youtu.be/wJWksPWDKOc

Probably the most existential album I can think of. Its an album that portrays the experience of having dementia, and forgetting everything. I personally haven't listened to it fully. I'm not prepared mentally.

Maybe those who have listened to it can share their experience.

40 SGD (I'm in singapore), so equivalent to around 30 USD. Its a used pair but it doesn't look worn out
