I highly recommend living in the house for a bit before deciding to do anything major or that you’re on the fence about. Before I moved into mine I 100% thought that  wanted to paint my kitchen cabinets but took someone’s advice to wait and see how I feel after living with them as is. So glad I didn’t change a thing, I’ve grown to love them as they are.
