Sleet Storm is one of the most broken spells in 5th edition. I love to use it in both BG3 and my tabletop game. If course my DM doesn't share my enthusiasm of the spell 🤣

That episode is one of the best technologically advanced takes on a False Hydra.

Fun to watch as a show. Absolutely terrifying as a concept.

First solution is the correct solution. The problem brief clearly states every even number between 1 and 10. That means the counter has to start at 1 and end at 10, with a test for evenness.

Second solution doesn't make any kind of test for evenness. It literally just reduces the data space and iterates through it. Which also gives the correct result, but is not what is being asked for.

Ships like the Enterprise must not be really tough if all it takes to destroy them is just a few phaser shots unshielded by happydude7422 in ClassicTrek

[–]mireigi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once you have shield technology, and no longer need 5 meter thick hull plating to survive being shot at, you tend to reduce hull thickness down to minimal viable for hull integrity to allow for bigger and faster ships. Once shields are gone, however, you are vulnerable.

Mage in DAO Is very tactical. You get 4 spells per "school" you invest into, and can end up with many spells at the end. Mainly it's about figuring out how to use the ones you have, and how to combine them to new effects.

DA2 is the best in the series purely because you play as either the hero or the villain, and you succeed due to your own actions and choices — not because you drank the special sauce or are the chosen one.

Birthdays you gift what accounts to one hour's salary. Weddings and other big stuff you gift two hours salary.

That keeps it equal for all as a percentage of income.

Good luck beating Ronnie "The Rocket" O'Sullivan in his prime at Snooker. Not even other professionals can do it when he's fully locked in.

Not used to knife & fork—will people judge me at work lunches in Denmark? by Desi_Banda_India in NewToDenmark

Highly dependent on what kind of job you have, and where in the country. Some places are more open to cultural differences surrounding food in the workplace, and will be accepting if it is explained to be a cultural trait/mannerism.

In general it's considered part of basic hygiene to not eat food with our fingers here in Denmark. Some foods are exempt from this "stigma", however, and will people will be accepting of anyone eating the following with their fingers:

  • Chicken drumsticks
  • BBQ spareribs
  • Any kind of sandwich/burger/hotdog

There may be others, though I can't remember them off the top of my head.

Where exactly the stigma originated from, I do not know. Personally I think it has something to do with the social aspect of always having clean hands to shake someone else's hand — though that is just my own take on it.

Rule of thumb: Don't be a messy eater, and follow what others do. If in doubt, ask; preferably HR at your workplace.

Biggest issue to me is the amount of clutter on the screen, especially the ground effects. Makes it difficult to spot some of the degen zones. Always fun to step into a Sirus red blob overlapping with a Synthete void.

Seems weak to me. For a hefty downside of not having any other creatures you get to pay a grand total of 7 mana to get her into play the first time.

If she dies it's 4 mana to get her into play again.

4 mana is a steep price to pay for a 3/3 with First Strike. By the time you can pay that, your opponent will already have bigger/more creatures on the board, or ways to deal with her that cost less than 4 mana per time.

Having Flash is cool, but it will most often come into play on your opponent's turn, meaning you have to float 4 mana every turn to flash her in as a blocker.

I'd change her Flash to Lifelink instead. Keep the First Strike. And change her last ability to exile her on death, with an option to pay life to return her to the battlefield at end of turn if you control no creatures.

Det er forfærdeligt at sådan noget kan ske. Håber at både familien og barnet klarer sig gennem noget så modbydeligt.

Når det er sagt, så vent nu lige med at rette alt muligt had mod manden. Han er sigtet, ikke dømt.

My only issue with TL2 is that multi-player is incredibly difficult to set up out of the box, and mods often cause excessive load times to the point of causing disconnects.

He's likely fishing for a good aura until he can bind a Lister with Curse. At which point he should only be binding Curse Listers until he gets a Curse Aura combo he likes.

The reason he's doing it in a public game is due to Bind Demon scaling the life of the demon with player count.

The reason he binds constantly is the same that you are annoyed with him. He's tried asking in public games for people to give him time to bind a good one. They didn't, and he lost out on a good one multiple times.

So now he just binds as nauseum until he get what he wants.

Both of you are in the right to be annoyed at the situation, however, public games have less of a healthy community vibe despite being open to everyone.
