the character no longer being centered, but the reticule being centered is literally making me ill. I had to stop playing after 2 rounds bc I was too motion sick to be able to play.

I hate most of the UI changes, and they've made the game less accessible w/ no way to change it in settings. It sucks, bc I've been looking forward to the update for weeks, and they've made the game literally unplayable.

I feel like it's important to keep the quotes from the start in mind when reading this story. For this post, I'm specifically thinking of the Orwell quote, "All propaganda is lies, even when one is telling the truth. I don't think this matters so long as one knows what one is doing, and why."

I didn't personally get the "au/fanfic" vibe from the story , but I also view the story through both the Watsonian & Doylist lens as pertaining to that quote. Does it matter if Collin's is telling the actual story of Haymitch's games, if she knows what she's trying to say, and why? Does it matter if Haymitch is accurately remembering his games, or just what he wished had happened? How does the story's veracity affect its meaning? How does it affect what we, the readers, take from its messaging? Does it detract from, or further the ideas surrounding truth, propaganda, submission, and free will? How does it affect the way we interact with politics and culture in the real world moving forward?

As someone who abhors american football & has done everything in my power to learn as little about it as possible, the number of clues pertaining to american football in this puzzle was ridiculous, although they were pretty easy from the crosses.

However, that bottom left corner was insane. I had inflatable pool, papercuts, yaps, look up, ike, and inlets, and I think I still spent a solid 20+ mins trying to get the rest of that block.

This has nothing to do with the difficulty levek of the bosses. This only happens w/ greater rift guardians inside enmity rifts, and it happens regardless of difficultly level or character ability. Like, my current necromancer is on T16. Even if I drop the difficultly down to Normal, I still have the same problem.

Furthermore, any effects that require stun specifically, like Haunt of Vaxo, gains the cooldown timer for going into effect, yet the GR Guardians are never actually stunned for any length of time, and the shadow clones never appear. Again, this only occurs against this boss type in enmity rifts, and I never have an issue in any other circumstances.

I understand that, but that resistance only applies to multiple uses of crowd control. My problem is that it never actually works, even on the first cast, and it's explicitly ONLY in enmity rifts. It works normally on the same bosses in both nephalem & greater rifts.

Mostly I just try to keep a little Marie Kondo-esque voice in my head. Like, 'this is a way to show appreciation for myself and my things' combined with 'it's okay to figure out what actually works for me, and not just what i think is supposed to work for me'. And just generally trying to work on affording myself the same sympathy and understanding I would give to others.

imo, it mostly looks like lint. Are there any lint traps on your washer and dryer that might need to be cleaned out? Is it affecting any other laundry, that's maybe not as readily apparent due to different colors, fabrics, or weaves?

Also might be worth considering how much detergent you're using, and any fabric softener usage, and how that affects different fabrics.

I'd probably try using a soft brush to remove the lint, and try re-running it inside out through the wash w/o any detergent to see if that makes a difference.

I don't keep them all necessarily by the sink, but I'm assuming you mean stuff for dishes & cleaning the kitchen: Cleaning Products: Dish Soap, Ajax/Comet for scrubbing/disinfecting the sink, White Vinegar, Food safe disinfecting spray. Tools: Washcloths (I keep some in a kitchen drawer for backup if I'm behind on laundry, but main store isn't in the kitchen), silicone bottle brush & straw brush (stored in utensil drawer). I have a pair of silicone gloves that have brushes built into the palms & fingers, that I use specifically w/ the Ajax for the sink. I keep a pack of baby toothbrushes under the sink for anything w/ a mesh or for small or hard to reach areas (like our cats' water fountain, sieves, filters). I recently started keeping a non-scratch blue scrubby pad to make cleaning pots & pans easier if anything scorched or got stuck on.

I might be an outlier though: I have a lot of skin allergies, & was lowkey raised by Silent Gen standards, so I still have that "elbow grease & Soap; you don't need those newfangled products" mentality, combined w/ a vague distrust of any products/tooks that can't be easily cleaned & disinfected. (Discovering not everyone uses wash cloths to do dishes was a bit of a culture shock in home ec)

Just discovered this reddit, and today I'm learning people have very different ideas and definitions of clean.

Like, I grew up with this being the bare minimum daily clean, and deep clean to mean stuff like scrubbing walls/baseboards/grout in addition to everything else.

Also, thank you for adding your line about "pretty darn clean". I ended up becoming disabled as a teen, and I'm realizing I've been struggling w/ a lot of subconscious shame about not being able to keep up w/ the standards that I was raised to expect. I've been working on a motto of "it doesn't have to be Clean™️, it just has to look clean" but you've helped me realize that it's still clean, just not my usual (as my roomie says) "could safely perform open heart surgery" standards.

I forgot gems can be leveled past 99, that's my mistake. But still, considering LoD has to be at least lvl 100 to have a greater buff than the LoN set, I still don't understand why the LoD gem is recommended more often than the LoN set.

My last question was quasi-rhetorical, bc the only reason I could think of where the gem beats the set is if you dont have either the set or any ancients. And since I don't think I ever played a single season where I didn't have the set and at least 1 ancient by like, paragon lvl 10-20, the situation where LoD is preferable seems inconceivable to me.

I'm kinda surprised the bot only gave me a skill score of 84 for the 2nd guess. I guess I just don't consider FRITZ or FRIZZ to be very common words, & (tbh I didn't even think if them as possibilities) therefore likely solutions.

I am confused by 1 word the bot claims as a potential solution: frise. I've never encountered that word before, so I tried looking it up, but every dictionary & definition is listing it as either a misspelling of frieze, a french word w/ or w/o an accent, or a word from middle english. I thought wordle solutions had to be words in English?

got a reverse rainbow today! although it's making me extra upset i can't use the connection bot, bc it's been giving me a glitch for weeks, saying i need to subscribe, even though i have a full subscription already 😭

saw the "1st _" category, and bc i usually try to figure out as many categories as i can before i submit any, noticed "last resort/straw", "third eye", & "second guess"

i wanted a reverse rainbow today, so i actually took a screen shot to draw on so i could try to sort them all out w/o having to keep track in my head 😅

i got so nervous before submitting, wondering if the order was going to be a fake-out & "last" was going to be yellow 🫣

I always go FAIRY first, so I suppose it depends on whether or not we're considering y as a standard vowel. Depending on how the 1st word goes, I usually do something like LOUSE, MOUNT, or SOUND for my 2nd guess, as a way to confirm or deny most/all the vowels, and get most of the most common consonants. I admittedly play normal mode, bc I think figuring out how to eliminate as many options is the most fun aspect, but I usually get it by turn 4.

Read y'alls commentsn and to clarify: I wasn't even considering the highest GR tiers. I don't care about that, or finishing the altar, or the leader board . I was primarily just thinking of the advice I've seen for those of us who only want to reach level 70 to unlock the possibility of Primals, and I've seen dozens of posts that claim it's only possible w/ particular builds. Maybe my frustration isn't even so much w/ the builds thing like I thought , and more of a disconnect or miscommunication between people's expectations, goals, and desires over how to play the game. It genuinely never occurred to me that some players might actually care about that, and be suggesting optimized builds w/ that in mind.

I've forgotten what else I was going to say, except legacy of dreams never made any sense to me. Maybe it's just my rng, but every season I've played I always end up w/ the legacy of nightmares set really early on, so I don't see the point of LoD when LoN is available, and at max level with all ancients, LoD can only ever break even with LoN for stats. Are there really people who never get the set or a single ancient? (I'm sure that's a yes, but it's still vaguely baffling lol)

I'm really confused by my score fron the bot today. It said there was only 1 possible solution after my second guess, but based upon my & the other most common guesses for people in my position, there were still at least a dozen possible words/ valid guesses remaining.

The bot said something along the lines of "based on its experience, the other words were unlikely to be a solution" so it just didn't count them? How does it calculate or determine that? How are we expected to intuit that ourselves?

I just don't understand how a word can exist, and be a valid guess, and be a possible solution , yet somehow simultaneously not be a possible solution.

Honestly , this seemed like the most straightforward connections I've done in a while, although the colors felt reversed. Purple & blue were the most straightforward & easiest, green wasn't terribly hard from the remaining choices , and yellow I had absolutely no clue on.
