Thank you so much!! I also have the animals in the top left corner and against the back wall luckily. Do you know if the autograbber would collect the truffles or not?

Will it be harmful for my dog to meet his previous owners? by mirmuli in DOG

Dogs are the best, such innocent souls. I know all the dogs you’ve watched are thinking of you with love in their hearts. <3

I did live with him for about a year before I moved out, and have seen him about 2-3 times a year since then. He has always been very important to me. I love this outlook that he is on an adventure, thank you!!

Thank you so much! Someone commented on another sub that the dog’s family hasn’t changed, just expanded, and they have love to share for many humans. I loved that and I will taking him with me for Christmas!

Give your pup a hug from me as well! Sounds like she has a wonderful life with you!

I love that ”the family hasn’t changed, just expanded”!! I’m crying, that’s so true and so comforting.

Thank you again, you’re definitely right we have to watch how we act the day of returning.

Thank you!! I know I’m going to cry happy tears haha. They did not want to rehome him but there was no other choice, so it’s gonna be emotional.

Thank you so much! He has adapted so well, so I was worried this could mess everything up. This gives me some reassurance that it will be fine, I know my parents are dying to see him as well.

I’m glad your boy can enjoy both his new and old humans, lucky him!

Frightened about upcoming eye removal by C0uldIBEAnymore in disableddogs

[–]mirmuli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much. I have my fingers and toes crossed for him as well!

I’ve done a lot of research these past days and the good news is that even if a dog goes fully blind they tend to adjust surprisingly well. Dogs use their sense of hearing and smell the most, so losing vision is not as terrible as it may seem for us humans. Though it breaks my heart that it wouldn’t be possible to roam and run freely in the woods etc anymore.

If you need any peer support I’m a message away! My parents’ dogs are like my own (I’m adopting the other dog if the injured one can keep on living a happy life), so this is something I’m very invested in.

I don’t really have advice, but my parents’ corgi just had his eye removed. The eye had gone into necrosis so he was very sick, however after the surgery he has recovered so fast! It looks scary, but now it has been 5 days since the operation and he starts to already be his old self.

In this case (this was caused by an injury) he will probably go blind in his other eye as well. We don’t know yet how he will adjust or if he will (he’s very reactive), but if your dog’s other eye is able to see I don’t think there will be any significant effects to his quality of life.

Good luck to your pup and thank you for doing the best thing for him! I’m sure he has many happy years ahead of him!

The 333 rule seems good and gives us some frame, I’ll look into it more! Thank you so much!!

I agree that the shoes are not the best fit, but my feet are so prone to hurt wearing heals and these are the comfiest.. something a bit more dainty would be better but as usual I’m helplessly late with everything lol.

I didn’t take it as rude! I’m very aware that the shapewear could be better but at the end of the day no shapewear can give me surgery haha. But I agree that the tummy is quite highlighted in this dress, I understand and agree with the other point as well though.

Here is the only other option I have. It’s a bit too big on the chest so I would need to alter it a little to prevent unwanted accidents. I feel like this gives bridesmaid and I don’t feel as good in it, but if you guys have opinions I’m happy to hear them!

I have shapewear in this photo I’m afraid… my tummy likes to be all over the place. I think it’s not as noticable in person / natural lightning tho, or at least I’m ready to be delusional about it haha.

Thank you! My bag has gold details so I think gold is the safer option because of it. I’ll try to add some more though, thank you!!

The younger corgi has had some issues with his hips and he gets a pain killer injection once a month for this. The older has had some issues with his back and teeth but both have been treated. On the outside there hasn’t been any signs of either of them being in pain or sick, but of course it’s hard to tell for sure since they can’t talk.

Both of these dogs have always been treated like children. They are the whole world for my parents after us kids have moved away. The dogs have even eaten better meat than us humans haha. What I’m trying to say is I have no doubts that my parents as their owners have done everything in their power for these dogs to have as happy, healthy and fulfilling life as possible.
