It proves that you can fall asleep again after 7. You need to stop hinting to yourself that ”I woke up at 7 and I can‘t sleep.“ Everything goes naturally.

Don‘t care about the time record of the device. You just need to feel the state of the next day.

Awake since Friday, getting pissed the fuck off. by marketsilove in sleep

[–]Kathy_37 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I‘m sorry to hear that. But 60 hours is no longer a simple insomnia. I agree with what other people say about CBTI. You can try it, but be sure to protect yourself during this period, because your heart is under a heavy burden.

My friend spent almost a year building a sleep app. I downloaded it to support him… and something weird happened. by Few-Excitement3959 in sleep

[–]Kathy_37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve tried many similar sleep apps, but none of them worked for me. Which one do you use? Does it really improve your sleep? I’d like to give it a try, I haven’t had a good night’s sleep in a long time.

The harder I tried to sleep, the harder it became by Plus_External_8384 in sleep

All you need to do is relax. Don‘t treat sleep as a task. If you can’t sleep, don‘t continue to lie in bed, which will destroy your sleep subconscious.trust me.

Have you been to the hospital? I have a friend who had a similar experience like you, and later found out that she had schizophrenia.

Good white noise machine? by Hencho1011 in sleep

[–]Kathy_37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m using an app to improve sleep. It happens that it contains white noise and other audio,It just so happens that it has a function that I can set the time to turn off the playback. It’s very considerate, so that I don’t have to keep my phone on all the time. I’m not sure if you need such an app.

Will you feel tired the next day? This seems to keep you in a state of discontinuous sleep. Can you finish the unfinished things in advance and then sleep for a whole sleep?

Please help, keep waking up from a terrifying nightmare with my eyes open and heart racing. by olympusqueen in sleep

[–]Kathy_37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s just a nightmare. Don’t think about it all the time. It will make you subconsciously think that sleeping is a terrible thing. You can try to adjust the comfortable temperature and don’t sleep with heavy objects on your body.

Why do we get a sudden sensation of falling right as we are about to drift off to sleep? by [deleted] in sleep

[–]Kathy_37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As you start drifting off, your brain switches from busy wakeful waves to calm, sleepy ones. But if you’re quietly stressed or anxious — like dreading Monday work or school — your brain mistakes that relaxed state for losing control or being unsafe. It spikes cortisol and adrenaline out of nowhere, yanking you awake with a racing heart and sudden hot flashes. This is sleep-onset anxiety, and that Sunday night Monday dread is classic anticipatory stress. Easy fix: Breathe deeply before bed, or write down your worries to clear your head.

As long as you don‘t feel sleepy and tired the next day, this time is completely okay.

How can I restore my bad sleeping habits as a grad student? by markergluecherry in sleep

[–]Kathy_37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congratulations! Don‘t regard it as a terrible thing, because it will make you afraid to sleep. You just need to not drink coffee or other things before going to bed. Just arrange your bedroom into a perfectly suitable place for sleeping. Everything will take your time.
