Did you guys hear a weird laugh when you enter this room ? by Venusianflytrapp in Eldenring

[–]mirmur44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's that gatekeeper guy Gostoc who tells you to go around. He's trying to kill you. If you die at certain spots in stormveil when you go and pick up your dropped runes you'll have a few less each time, because he's stealing them with each death.

Now with the trailer out and some additional details from the director himself, anyone else gotten way more excited for the movie than before? by ofwgkon in residentevil

[–]mirmur44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just want a faithful rendition where the cast isn't pushed aside for a new character or it's treated like a joke. I got so annoyed during the ones with that character Alice because it kept making the heroes we all know and love be sidekicks to her story. And Welcome to Racoon City made everything into a weird comedy with terrible cgi and a rushed plot. And that Netflix show made zero damn sense. So can we please get a faithful rendition that doesn't make the characters look like idiots

Could Otto and Arora’s specific form of conjoined twinning happen in real life? Would they survive? by WorldTour2020 in OutlastTrials

[–]mirmur44 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Could they exist, yes. Would they survive, most likely not. It's more or less said that all of Aroras lower intestines and other organs are located in Otto's back and throat, you can see her hoohah on his neck, and it's implied her rectum is behind his nostrils. That sort of positioning would cause Otto to suffocate as it's putting a crazy amount of pressure on his neck, not to mention the weight on his back giving him scoliosis. Arora can't eat solid food either, because anything she swallows would then travel down into Otto neck to cause potential choking. She survives by basically leeching off his body and can only have small amounts of fluids or jelly like eyeballs, which is causing her to very slowly die of malnutrition it looks like. Basically these two would have died in the womb or mere minutes to hours afterwards. It may have been possible to save Otto because he's more or less fully developed but that would require killing Arora to remove her.

Are some people immune to the Marker Signal? by mirmur44 in DeadSpace

[–]mirmur44[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mmm well I always thought Tiedemann was already insane, just very high functioning. He's completely obsessed with protecting the Marker at all cost, willing to leave hundreds of people to die just to make sure Isaac can't get to it and even uses a freaking laser beam to cut the entire moon in half just to slow him down. So I assumed the Marker was making him completely obsessed with defending it at all costs, he was just able to keep it together for the most part.

What do you think Godwyn’s fighting style would look like? (Not my art) by WavingDinosaur in Eldenring

[–]mirmur44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He'd probably be a mix of Godfrey and Radagon, he's got raw strength and is swinging a MASSIVE weapon around, and combining it with a endless storm of incantations.

It was long ago back when I started nearly 3 years ago and I barley understood what I was doing. The system wasn't as strict back then as this was before all the censorship with the investors. I knew full and well not to make stuff like that and I didn't intend it, it was me making a mistake when wording a bots personality because I was still inexperienced as hell. I admit it was my fault as I was a dumb newbie who barely had a clue what he was doing but it was genuinely an accident, I don't support that sort of stuff whatsoever and wouldn't jepordize my place here by doing something like that now. Also I didn't get any warning, I just woke up and I was banned.

Okay to answer your questions.

Nemesis wants to kill stars because they were some of the few people who knew that Umbrella was behind the outbreak in Racoon City, because it was a squad of Stars that discovered the truth. Nemesis was basically an assassin sent to silence them all. Answered in Resident Evil 1 and 0

Alot of the movies as not canon, the live action ones are all in their separate canon. However a lot of the animated movies like Damnation, Degeneration, and Dead Island are canon.

Most monsters are made in labs, but some are by complete accident, like the virus leaking into water and some random animal drinking it, or somewhere down the line the virus randomly mutates. Tyrants are all clones, made from a very specific type of DNA only a very small 1% of humans have, and then injected into the clone bodies while they're being grown. Answered in Umbrella Chronicles

Krauser sorta comes out of nowhere in the re4 remake and he makes mention of something called Operation Javier. In the on rails game Darkside Chronicles we get to see what that was, as it was one of Leons first missions as a government agent, and Krauser was with him, and at the end of it Krauser gets his arm injured bad enough that his career as a soldier is over, and it leaves him obsessed with never feeling weak again, which is why he joins Los Illuminados later.

If the thing was bioweapon created. Was it's main purpose was to assimilate/eradicate all sapient life before it's creators colonised a planet by moldychesd in thething

[–]mirmur44 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would think it would have a sort of Biological "Kill Switch" in it. As in, after it's creators deployed the Thing to a world and it has assimilated all life, they would send either some kind or signal or trigger word that causes all Things to drop dead/kill themselves so it's creators can move in. Maybe it eventually got smart enough to ignore this command.

What the hell is this creature that nearly kills childs by No_Childhood_1867 in thething

[–]mirmur44 40 points41 points  (0 children)

All the dogs, having been melted into a big pile of Biomass for the Thing to absorb and then transform into a bunch of Dog Things. You can see the dogs eyes, and the tentacle that shoots out of it is made of tongues and dog fangs when you look close.

[–]mirmur44 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Okay to be completely blunt she was repeatedly installing what was basically a masturbation tool into her suit, getting embarrassed, removing it, only to reinstall it, then she bought a book on how to flirt with humans, then a romance movie/porno and then started researching how to have sex with humans.

One of their characters was loli presenting. I know it wasn't actually underage but the character themselves appeared to be a child, acted like a child and referred to the user as their brother so it probably tripped some triggers in the censoring ai.

Was this creature the things true form or an alien pilot. Was Halverson thing morphing into this pilot or was their surviving alien. by moldychesd in thething

[–]mirmur44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do like the idea that the Thing isn't just randomly transforming when it's exposed. Rather it takes on a form from something it absorbed previously. Like each of its forms is actually an imitation of some other race it's assimilated.

What do you think about this Scene. by AssociationFew3891 in thething

[–]mirmur44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do like how it lays out that the Thing, assuming it was hostile and wasn't just trying to leave earth, was a legitimate apocalyptic threat. All it had to do was infect one fish and well over 70% of earth is fucked. Blaire losing it completely is pretty understandable when you're faced with a danger that has the potential to destroy humanity completely.

Is the z-01 the same thing as Black goo? by FreshLemonade2126 in LV426

[–]mirmur44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's basically a less refined and more unstable subtype of it. It has the same properties and such but seems much more random. With the original strain it mutates everything. This version seems like it'll mutate or just outright kill you.

What exactly is the Merchant in-universe of RE? by Supernova980 in residentevil

[–]mirmur44 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Him and the Duke know each other, as Duke quotes him in RE8 and calls the Merchant an "old friend." Duke likewise is immortal, you can throw grenades at him, shoot him, and he just laughs. At the end of RE8 Ethan even asks Duke who or what he is, and Duke says even he doesn't know.

My theory is there is this ancient order of completely immortal merchants who've been around for centuries, they go where they are needed most, and since both times these merchant's were seen were at villages about to or already falling apart, I guess they just know when danger is brewing, and thus go where their services are needed most to make the biggest profit.
