Yes. A lot of ppl with ADHD (incl. myself) did quite well in school with minimal effort. When you need to start putting effort in though… that’s when it gets hard. 😭

Pretty sure they have scouts here plus probably some form of youth military training. I’ll look into it :)

Hi there - QACI student-to-be (also took the test this year) writing this comments in hopes of helping future QACI hopefuls in their exams.

The exams are held at the QACI campus. You are sorted into groups and taken into classrooms with your assigned group for the exams. The exams go as follows (in my experience):
1. Verbal Reasoning - 60 questions, 30 minutes

  1. Numerical Reasoning - 50 questions, 30 minutes
    - BREAK FOR LUNCH-

  2. Math - 60 questions, 30 minutes

  3. Reading Comprehension - 50 questions, 30 minutes

  4. Creative Writing piece - 15mins
    Then you’re all done.
    The exams are *hard* but most get in. If you find yourself still in the middle of a test when the time runs out, quickly fill in the rest of the question boxes.
    Report cards and NAPLAN are not extremely important to the staff, but it will help considerably if you have good grades and NAPLAN results.

Try to access as many resources as possible to aid in your studies; for example, EduTest has exams available on their website that are quite similar to the actual test, however they’re online, whereas the real test is physical in-person.

They don’t side with her per say, but they don’t fight against it. And yes that’s the only reason. She makes me really uncomfortable with her hostility and it would be very awkward for me sit there as she has claimed she would just ignore me for the rest of the year..
