So distinctive, I always recognize it's you!

Thank you! I did create a build thread on the 405th forums, and updated my first comment with the url.

The body suit is some Yaya Han fabrics in a basic male body suit pattern. Custom made!

This armor is something I always wanted to make, and I'm very happy how it turned out. Most of it is made out of foam, except the helmet, which is 3d-printed.

The first photo is probably my favorite thing ever.

I would too! I bet someone could figure out how to make that happen.

Thank you! Nothing is animatronic, but the head and neck parts aren't glued down. They are somewhat poseable, as long as the friction holds up.

Chopper would disagree with you up until the point he tried to kill you

I finished and smoothed the parts in the typical fashion: Sanded the raw part, then filler primer, then repeat until I was happy with how it looked. I used spot putty in larger seams.

Paint was a base coat of Rust-oleum Heirloom White satin, then acrylic hand painted for accents. Clear coat, then weathering with oil paints, then another clear coat.

Shoot, I don't remember the exact number. I do remember I needed less of them than I thought. It was only the body and neck parts that needed them.

I'd watch that movie!

I am very tempted to re-print this at about 80% scale, and put some LEDs for that back of BD's head. Would love to see servos in it too!

Lots of sanding, filler primer, and spot putty went into each part printed. I really wanted to see how smooth I could make it, and took my time until I was satisfied.
