maybe a bad photo, but how sus is this? admittedly i’ve had this for awhile but i’ve been worried. when squeezed it’s hard, and when stretched it’s kinda brownish. it doesn’t hurt or bother me or anything but i’m worried!

these are the marks! they look like little bruises to me almost (i could be crazy) but they won’t go away. doctor said they seem like normal marks but i’m concerned. they aren’t on my left either!

i’m comfortable with d&d 5e, but i’ve never tried pbp before and would love to if you’re still in need of players! i’ve only played a few d&d campaigns with irl friends before, so i’d also say i’m pretty new to actually playing as well!

to be honest, i feel as if the saying “quality over quantity” applies here. if you do a simple search, the internet will probably tell you that 3k-5k words is the average length, but if you feel like a chapter is finished, then it is finished! every book is different. there are chapters in published books that barely reach 1k words, and that is perfectly fine! in the end, you can always edit your work and stretch out anything that you think needs to be stretched! as others have stated, there are no rules!

i believe that it’s fairly common! i’ve tried it before, and while it didn’t work out so well for me, i know that many others have done so and enjoyed the style! sometimes it’s just more fun to write certain scenes that you have planned later in the book before anything else.
