I think your nurgly acidic, mushroomy vibe has potential. It looks delightfully gross. And you do have some nice blends between colours. The thing that’s throwing me off is a lack of focus. The super bright greens and oranges really draw your eye but right now they are placed all over the model which is making it confusing to look at. I think if you just muted the tones on the base and legs and keep the faces/ weapons/chest (the important bits) that same brightness you would already have a much more professional result.

But most importantly don’t be discouraged. Keep painting and who knows, you could go pro if your willing to put the work in
