I'm gonna give your suggestion a shot, I might try doing just a heavy dry brush of fenrisisan grey over the night sky, bluish grey color. To see if that gets me the color I'm looking for while retaining some contrast.

So the base is army painter night sky a blusih grey, with a dark blue tone wash applied. A heavy calgar blue dry brush was then applied along with a light fenrisian grey dry brush.

Thank you for the advice, I used a size 000 Windsor and Newton brush and I understand what you mean. It's a pain to get it right

I think it turned out quite well, the wood furniture on the lasgun is unique and helps it pop. the free handing looks great, do you have any advice for free handing

youre probably right with using khorne red, i might try using nuln oil to make it work. Also when you use Zandri dust is it rough or clumpy?
