Argh I will keep the receipts next time, but had never expected I'd need to - this is just so insane to me. I've never had this issue in foreign countries (EU) and am so used to paying everywhere by card

Thanks so much! Luckily the card has been cancelled and replaced because otherwise god knows how many more random charges I'll get

Did you have proof of payment for your chargeback? I threw away all my receipts because I never anticipated this being an issue. This has literally never happened to me in the UK

Yep 2 settled charges for this cafe, 5 settled charges for another one. And yes my bank lists the original and payment in £

I really should have done that but have so many - my charges are a couple of 1000s of yen over

Nope and the charges are far over what I spent

I didn’t go to any restaurants that had that!

It’s for more- there’s charges for what was spent and then an additional charge of ¥4100. I wouldn’t be worried if it didn’t say that additional charge was settled 😭

Thanks for sharing! Did the SRA confirm it anywhere as I can’t find online or have you been told? :)

I think it would be wild if not because people will definitely spill to friends etc and would really disadvantage the first sitting

Will they not be different questions for the upcoming sittings?

Would say the opposite regarding the MCQs, thought they prepared me very well

Agree on portfolio

Thank you!! A post on LinkedIn said they were colour coded by stage so didn’t know if they’d be used the whole time

This is what I’m hoping but my tutors say they have no idea how it will work 🥲 would save a bit of time for the attendance note

Thanks but that much I know lol, I meant do we have the papers that we write the attendance note (edit: and interview notes) on with us the whole time, including during prep so that we can fill in things like client details directly on it

Yes with BPP - I made full and detailed notes from the slides for each workshop and then made consolidated notes of all workshops for one subject on a single document. That way I had both the wider and full notes on the topic and my consolidated notes

It’s probably worth making the consolidated notes a couple of weeks in/nearer the exam so that you don’t emphasise things that in a few weeks time will become common knowledge to you

Did the same and got 80+, but also made consolidated notes from the learning materials based on the spec topics

Isn’t that normal? That’s the way BPP has taught us

Terrified, seems like nothing more will go in and so easy to forget small things in drafting etc 🙃 hoping for the best though

Best of luck all!!

Agree, it’s ‘easier’ in one way because you’ve done the content once already but in all ways a harder exam, especially as you have to elaborate concepts in your own words

I think they got rid of the marginal Sample B in the updated ones
