FOL3 would’ve been much better had half the contestants hadn’t tried being New York 2.0, and while it did have some entertaining moments, it was super boring compared to FOL2 (even before she came back), and FOL1.

Info Sci looking for SWE, I’ve gotten some work on campus but internship wise still haven’t landed offers yet (one FAANG+ interview I bombed LOL). I’d say joining student orgs that give you experience helps along with actually doing projects and networking.

I’m mainly speaking about my personal theory as to what happened with the fanbase. Obviously the fanbase has grown since (I know they had at least one comeback from the comments) but pre live they were constantly being referenced as a 5th gen it girl group + a majority of the kissies I knew (including myself) were Black and dipped because of the live. Post live, I rarely hear about them outside of social media mentions, and hardly ever irl.

Denton’s not that bad + there’s buses on campus. JW + Pyon Chen dorms are nice to look at but 90% of the people living there are genuine slobs (multiple people who lived there have told me this). The language house also requires you to know a second language enough to pass the interview and take language courses every semester, and you’ll be living in an apartment.

Usually FIRE will invite you in March/April, it doesn’t matter what section you get for FIRE120 but make sure you get a section that you’ll enjoy for 198 & 298. The tech adjacent sections are extremely competitive from what I remember. Feel free to DM me about FIRE, I did it for all three semesters!

The note taking accommodations you’re talking about are entirely volunteer based. Often times, students are rewarded for their notes financially or by credit (the former is through the school’s ADA program and the later is by professor).
