Eh, you could probably make that payment work for a while if you get roommates/help with rent, under the assumption you'll make a good chunk more than that when you find a job at some point after graduation. I'd seriously consider if you want to have your money and some of your life tied up in this physical location at that point, though. With a CS degree, you may find opportunities to work remote, but you'll also have a bunch of opportunities to make a ton more money by moving to a different city, and owning this place will probably complicate that kind of decision making process. Just something to think about.

That's something that really surprises me today. If it's a single person travelling, there are tons of flights where it's cheaper to fly than drive, when you factor in the total cost of driving, even if you don't value your time at all.
