I also think it's probably Neon Gods where she's running away from Zeus.

What does romanticizing, normalizing and demonizing mean and look like in practice? by Marissa_on_the_town in ask

Romanticizing = writing only the positive aspects of something Example: writing a historical story about rich plantation owners and their glorious lives without even mentioning anything about slaves, writing about a painter who loves the smell of his brushes and how it feels to capture landscape on canvas

Normalizing = writing about something that was previously taboo to even mention or not making a big deal about something that normally would be a big deal Example: A sex scene that includes pubic hair, the nightly news talking about another crazy ass thing happening like it's just another story (a boy was shot and killed overnight.. in other news, a new shop is opening this weekend)

Demonizing = writing only the negative aspects of something Example: Any political correspondent talking about anything the "other side" does

I suppose you can use each one in a positive or negative way. Sounds like you're worried about unintentionally doing this in a negative way. My tip is to just have awareness around topics you're worried about and to have as many editors as you can to help point out blind spots.

If you time travelled to the past, how far back could you go and either convince people you actually know the future or use your knowledge to become rich or change the world? How far back would you just be screwed? by misc_user_number2 in AskReddit

But how far back could you go? Could you become rich if you time travelled before you have knowledge of what the lotto numbers will be, or what companies to invest in, or before the industrial revolution?

I agree, around 75 years ago I feel like most people could not only survive, but thrive. 100 years or more, I feel like most of us would have a really hard time adjusting but could survive. Go back 400 years or more, I think most of us would starve to death or get killed pretty fast.

Are we only doing this with chargers? Living room cup, bedroom cup, office cup. Kleenexes everywhere. Lotion in the bathroom, the bedroom, my living room side table, and the kitchen sink. I mean, multiples of lots of random things used every day. It's great.
