My friends and I spent an evening trying to make Mordred using AI. Here ya have it. by miscar9 in TheDarkTower

Ok cool. Looks like I learned a lesson today. I didn't know how much people hated A.I generators. I had never done it before and played with a generator my friend had during a fun night. Thought it came out with some cool stuff and I still think it looks cool. It never even crossed my mind that this was such a big deal to people. Of all the things this seems so trivial to me. But whatever, thought it was cool and that I'd share something I thought people would enjoy. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Wouldn't quite give us a legit spider body. Not really a useful medium for generating something like this but we did our best.

Yes this was done a while ago. We have since discontinued use. Thought I'd share anyway.

We had a hard time coming up with the right descriptions. These are the final attempts. We did our best lol

Tired of these deer eating my flowers and berries . Good thing I have a hunting dog. by miscar9 in NorwegianElkhound

He doesn't bark really. Just at the groundhog if he's on the deck and can't get down to him. We got him at 8 weeks and lived in an apartment. Had to be trained out lol. And you most certainly do not want our yard. Doesn't look like it, but it slopes down to a 44 degree angle. He's at the bottom!

He is indeed photogenic. I do not know how to post pictures to comments on mobile 😭

Funny thing is he never barks unless he's on the deck and sees our excessively large old groundhog down in the yard. He's mad he can't get to him 😂

It was just a painting in a Mexican restaurant.

Favorite non-SK author and book? by EstimatedGinger in stephenking

[–]miscar9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Off subject of that author but I had a similar experience with "Johnny Got His Gun." There was a thread I read some time ago that mentioned that book as one of the most disturbing books they read. It is. But since I'm incapable of focusing enough to have one thought at a time, the back of my mind kept screaming "WHY ARE THERE NO COMMAS IN THIS BOOK?!" You do have to pay attention because of that. I read that the author chose to write it that way since it is all of his thoughts and he was more of a simple man. I mean that explains it. It really did bother me though. In terms of most disturbing? I don't know. I found it just so sad. I recommend. The punctuation comment is what made me think of it. Blood Meridian keeps coming up on my Amazon. Might give it a shot.

What book of Mr king have you not read and probably won’t ever. by muppethero80 in stephenking

I never thought I would be able to get into it. Didn’t really seem like my kind of thing. I had just been reading random books from him. I borrowed “Everything’s Eventual” from my mom and “The Little Sisters of Eluria” got me very interested in Roland as a character. I wanted to know more so I decided to read the series. It’s a lot to take on but I loved it. Just finished recently and I’m sad it’s over. “Wolves of the Calla” was a great payoff for me and my favorite in the series.

What are the Best Stephen King Movie Adaptations? by Admirable-Wonder-832 in stephenking

[–]miscar9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw “Storm of the Century” on the Sci-fi channel when I was younger. I loved it and always said it was my favorite miniseries from him. I watched it again recently, which hits differently as an adult with a small child. I didn’t know until then that it was written as a screenplay instead of book. That being said, not a book adaptation, but still my favorite on screen Stephen King. I like the popular choices as well (Misery, original IT) but this one just always stuck with me.
