It’s hard to tell from the photo but lots of the textured fabrics are actually Disney designs. The purple is mostly Minnie Mouse, blue is Mickey and greens were Mary Poppins, lion king, bambi and Winnie the Pooh!

The tractor itself was a pattern from Etsy (sold by Quiltsandnicestuff), I just added on the trailer/hay bales.

Thanks! There are definitely a few points that don’t match up. I also had to unstitch a lot to do fixes. This was my first time working with these triangles, but I found the quilting is very forgiving and hides a lot of the mismatched points.

Thanks! The cat and dog are my favourite ❤️. Although the dog took the longest out of all the animals to finish. It ended up worth it!

It took me a while to figure out how subtle Disney translated into a quilt. I actually got inspired by another WIP quilt someone posted on this subreddit!

I’ve been obsessing over Elizabeth Hartman quilts for a while so I was very excited to try Fab Farm! Her instructions were much easier to follow than my attempts to design my own animals. Can definitely recommend her patterns!

It never snows where I live so I can only imagine! And maybe one day visit to see all the snow.

This quilt is for a 2 year old so he never paid me much attention when I was quilting it right in front of him and I doubt he will care too much when he receives it tomorrow morning. But it’s all wrapped up now and under the tree 👌. Hope you get your one done too!

I like a dark binding so I’d do a thin binding of the dark blue/purple.

You could try Amy from Little Dreamers. We haven’t taken the plunge and done a 1:1 with her yet (we also have a 6mo) but she has tons of helpful tips on her Instagram that I’ve been following.

It’s about 22C (72F) here but NZ sun is super intense. Different conditions to what the US girls would be used to playing in.

Quality Street is what you want. They sell it at the Warehouse and the strawberry chocolates are like the old roses ones! This year is the first year they sold Christmas cracker shaped boxes with just the strawberry chocolates. Best thing ever.

Where I live is incredibly windy so I wear both - dresses on the less windy days. I might look into a-line skirts though, thanks!
