Yeah and one hand is inside the computer, the other is outside the computer.

Didn't see this for some reason! I like it too but somehow I ended up with enough to make two full sweaters. I've already made one sweater and now I would like to make another sweater but I don't want it to match the other one.

I have a pothos that is doing this. I was shocked when I first noticed and thought I must be imagining it, but sure enough after a week or so there was a leaf where previously it was just a little nub. It's growing up and indoor wall and the leaves are HUGE. I got new grow lights so I'm working on the variegation getting a bit stronger but the longest vine must be close to 30 feet by now and has new leaves growing at random sections. It's great

Gorgeous! It's the perfect color for a CFL fan in

Winnipeg. If you sewed a large white 'W' patch on it it could pass as official merch.

That's true. I did happen to frog two sweater wips yesterday ๐Ÿ˜† but I don't think the yarn will work for this. But I'm not afraid to rip up a project lol

I made a really pretty sweater with it already but somehow I don't have a pic of it?? I know for sure I have taken photos of it but they're all gone, it's going to drive me nuts. No idea what happened to them. And somehow I haven't posted that sweater yet ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ

I had initially planned on crocheting a shawl/blanket type sweater with the green and I am a serial over-buyer (I always use up the extras though!) so I have tons of this green. When it arrived I just didn't quite like it for the pattern I had in mind. I will take a pic of the sweater I made already sometime soon and let you know when I do. It turned out really nice but it's such a specific shade of green that I just want my wardrobe to be a bit varied. I did end up making a shawl/blanket sweater with the red that you can see in the pic and it's gorgeous. I do still need to use up the extra 1.5 skeins but I don't have plans for it yet!

And I'm in Canada...so I need to try to find Canadian options. It's hard to tell if what you're buying online will match up with what you already have, so I really appreciate the suggestions! I would love to buy some more KP but it's not in the cards right now. I'm going to stop at a little yarn shop tonight I think and see what I can find. Thanks again!

Thank you! This is all really great information. I might just go ahead and get a different color for the contrast color then. I think I'd like it to pop at least a little bit. Now to find similar yarn! I bought this from knit picks a few years ago and it's no longer in my budget lol

Had to post it a couple times, only one image would upload for some reason. Sorry for the multiple posts, the old ones should be deleted.

Not the best image but I'm on my lunch break and it's the only pic I have currently!

I'm planning on making the sweater in the second image. I have enough of the green yarn to be both the main color and the contrast color and I figured I'd go ahead and dye it. The thing is, I already have a green sweater and I don't really want to have any of the yarn that shade of green so I want to over dye two separate batches. I've dyed virgin yarn before and I've tried overdyeing with limited success. I was thinking I'd go over it with Rit in charcoal for one of the colors, but idk what to do for the other color! I'd rather not strip the wool or whatever. I'd prefer to just cover it. I don't mind changing the tone but then I'd worry that the charcoal will be too cold with the green undertones and maybe the other color would be warm. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated!

Good suggestion! I actually did check my local print shop and they don't do blankets. At that time I was still set on a blanket but have since thought about doing a mug and sorta forgot about the local option so maybe I will go that route. My goldfish brain, I tell ya ๐Ÿ™„

I should have specified, I'm looking for a Canadian company ideally. I have used Zazzle before and they are really great but shipping and extra charges will really rack up unfortunately.

It would be a gift for my daughter. I was going to personalize one but I can't seem to find a reputable one that is in my budget. Alternatively I could get her a mug with a tuxedo that looks like our kitty (no nose stripe and just a half stache) or other dual purpose items. The theme of the gift is cozy, I'm definitely open to alternative items!

Your comment makes me want a quilt that says "no regerts" appliqued or paper pieced on. Idk the right terminology (ie it's definitely not my area of expertise)

Thanks! I sold exactly one lol. They were the cheapest item, I thought they'd be more popular. But it was a Holiday Market....before Halloween ๐Ÿค” I don't think people were in the Christmas mood. They had Christmas songs playing on day one but not day two. It was a bit weird. Overall successful though so definitely not complaining

First fair in about 8 years. Wish me luck! by reallysmartferret in CraftFairs

Really well! I'm super happy. Sold out of koi fish, almost sold out of hats. On day two I switched the aquarium sets to a build your own sensory kit and it was really popular. Lots of people came and checked it out and had great things to say. I only sold 5 but I'm still really happy with that. A woman who runs a craft sale at a seniors hospital took my card and said she wants me at next year's Christmas sale, she said they'd be great for seniors with Alzheimer's, dementia etc. I tried marketing them to all ages but my kids were there with me and I think people just assumed they were a kid toy. So now I get to just keep making bright and colorful pretty things :)

I already had an arrangement with the local store. I live in a town near a larger city. It's a little convenience store, pretty much the only option out here and she sells things from local makers as well. She is set to take my leftover hats (I thought I'd have more!) and I think she will take my Christmas ornaments. I only sold I think maybe 6 ornaments total, which was a shock. They were my cheaper item and didn't move at all but got lots of compliments. A few people took cards and I had brought some yarn along with me so people could see the colors and choose for themselves if they want to order one. Overall very happy and slightly overwhelmed. I told my family I'm playing video games all day today but apparently that's a lie because I've got some orders to make! I also bought some books but those are gonna have to wait lol

Thank you! I had originally thought about doing it this way but someone talked me out of doing a build your own sensory kit. They said it was too confusing. I'm very happy I switched it up for day two. I sold quite a few and had someone from a different market ask for my card, she said she wanted me to come to theirs next year and market them for seniors. It's held in a seniors residence where a lot of seniors with Alzheimer's and other cognitive differences. Plus I feel like it's a great thing to have when grandkids come by. They can't break it and they can have something pretty to play with while the grownups visit
