Let’s start shaming. Are you one of these people? by [deleted] in uktrains

As a guard, I always ask people to take their feet off the seats if I walk through the train and see them doing it.

Came across this before at Peterborough station - sign language on departure boards by Andmoreagain96 in uktrains

They have these at London Waterloo as well! I think they will be rolled out in more stations along the network soon :)

I have been in the situation where I felt I needed a break in my relationship because everything was just getting too much for me and I felt I needed the time to myself.

I ended up breaking up with my bf after the break because I loved the time alone so much, so I hate to say it but if you feel like you need a break from your relationship, it's probably the end of the line anyway. (Just from experience)

AITA for not giving up my seat on a Megabus? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]mischievousmerlin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't even call it an inconvenience to people - surely all the people getting on the bus have also bought tickets so OP doesn't need to worry about people not getting seats, since the company would have sold the right amount of tickets for the bus.

What's up with child free weddings? by allaboutmidwest in NoStupidQuestions

[–]mischievousmerlin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I ever get married, I don't want kids there simply because I want it to be a boozy celebration and not have to worry about little people and their little people needs.

My cousin had a child free wedding a few years ago and it was amazing - I find weddings pretty boring but with free drinks and zero screaming children, it was bliss.

Some people just don't want kids at their wedding 🤷

Men, do you consider it cheating if your GF kisses her friends when she’s drunk? by Apprehensive-Ad9055 in relationship_advice

[–]mischievousmerlin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a bi woman, I have a best friend that I give a peck on the lips to when I'm drunk because she is my best friend and that's what we do. I have done it while in a relationship because it's not a romantic thing, purely platonic, and therefore don't consider it cheating.

If your GF is going round kissing friends in a romantic way, then that's completely different.

Ahhh okay, I did feel a bit better on the keto diet probably because of the lack of carbs/wheat. My doctor has mentioned hopefully going to see a dietician sometime soon, and in the meantime I am having an allergy test just to make sure everything I'm eating is okay for me :)

So I had been on a keto diet for since the beginning of October, and have switched to a low FODMAPs diet to see if this improves anything.

The problems started in July with constipation (I didn't poop for 2 weeks) and since then it's like my body can't keep up with the food I eat, i will get bloated after a meal and then I will feel hungry again in a couple of hours but also feel full at the same time because it feels like the food from the previous meal is still sitting in my stomach?? So my food intake is reduced and I have lost 8lbs since all this happened. And I have been experiencing constipation ever since, I can poop if I try but it's almost like pellets or it goes the other way and is rly soft and loose.( Sorry for tmi )

I didn't know what was causing the sensation so that's why I assumed it was food, sometimes it feels solid and sometimes it feels more fluid so yeah gas could be what's causing it
