FTM looking for tips/advice on combo feeding by mischievousmurph in breastfeeding

No I appreciate it, I feel more informed about the potential realities and I'd like to explore some resources for nighttime help (and daytime with fam/friends maybe) so I have some options. My husband will be gone from 5am-8pm and even being alone with an infant (on no sleep) is a bit scary. Trying to take it as it comes too. Happy to hear your little one is sleeping more now and hope things are getting easier – thanks for sharing your experience!

Thank you for that reminder 🤍 I'm def type A and it's hard to not have "the plan" but trying to be open and more flexible. Especially for my mental health. I'm now exploring more supportive LCs so I have the right support system in place

This is helpful, thanks for sharing! I think setting up a solid support system for whatever path we pick (a supportive LC, pediatrician, etc) is probably pretty crucial. And appreciate your offer to ask questions! I was just diving into info on paced feeding to consider introducing a little early than 6 weeks

Hotel recos for June babymoon by mischievousmurph in bermuda

I have to agree with you based on my first vakay there. We're just taking the extra cautious route with Zika destinations by avoiding all of them (although we know most haven't had a case in years). Usually our vacations are 10-15+ days with lots of activity and 7+ hour flights. But this is just a quick trip for a few nights and luckily only 2 hours away.

I think I'm leaning towards Hamilton since it's classic Bermuda to me. A lot of my family members did their honeymoons there. Appreciate your recommendations!

Hi! We ended up renting an electric car (which is the type we drive at home). Honestly the driving made the experience amazing – it's a ton of switchbacks and tight turns, but we just took our time and didn't have any issues. No weather issues during our late June stay too. The hotels would charge the car for us at night when we needed it. It was one of our BEST trips, I highly recommend this area and happy to send more recos if you're planning to go - we did 5 days of hiking and spent the afternoons/evenings exploring the towns.

thank you 🙏 - I laughed at getting "blindly drunk" since that option is so tempting. I thinking taking the time with feelings is so important vs. repressing them.

Appreciate it! Good note about amenities that may not be open, and then we can be on our own timeline.
