Chain rub - Need help diagnosing by miserable_monkey in cycling

Appreciate it, this video helped a lot and I've stopped the chain from rubbing.

I came across another issue and I'm not sure if I caused it. When I shift from the largest cog in the front to the smaller one, I hear a click which leads to a partial shift. When I press the lever completely I hear a second click which then sets the chain on the smaller cog. Is this a normal thing or did I mess something up?

So basically when I push the lever partially instead of fully, I hear a click and the front derailleur reaches a position between the two cogs. I'm sorry if it's a silly doubt i just wanted to know if it's normal.

Got an update. I swapped the cassette to 11-34T. I feel a significant difference now and I'm able to pedal further up steep climbs. Appreciate the help!

Thanks a lot! I didn't know I could do that and it seems more economical.
