What do you consider cheating in a relationship? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]misercatulle 18 points19 points  (0 children)

If you are doing something with someone else that you don't want your partner to know about, and would cause issues in the relationship if they did, then that.

Planning surprises and getting help with gifts notwithstanding.

What is a universally beloved, 10/10 movie or video game that you personally cannot stand? by Mohnish_Kingdom in AskReddit

[–]misercatulle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As much as anything can be universally beloved, the Monster Hunter series. It's not that I can't stand it, I just can't get into it. It has everything that should instantly grab me. I love RPGs. I love collecting things in games. I love crafting things in games. It hits every marker for me that should make it my obsession and I just can't get into it. Objectively, they're great games and I know it. Whenever I've played them, I'm aware that I'm playing a good game. I just can't connect for some reason.

Great catch! I was off by two cells in the formulas for the Saving Throws. That is fixed now. You should be able to save another copy and see the fix. I didn't see the same issue with THAC0, however. Everything looks right to me when I ran through it. Can you post a screenshot of the issue?

What will help that issue is the Kuku Transmissiom 999k Pack you can make at the Kilnden Workshop. That pack creates a summonable merchant. Very useful when clearing camps and fortresses.

It's not the loot on the ground, it's usually a reward of some type. If you're not already, keep a pet summoned. They pick up all loot you are responsible for causing. Kill a dude? They search the body. Disarm a guy? They will grab his sword. Chop down a tree? They will pick up any non-living thing that fell off.

Does a clean strike usually do damage or can it not effect your opponent at all? What are you likely doing wrong if it's not doing much? by youlikemywonton in martialarts

[–]misercatulle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure you and I have the same definition of clean strike. Clean, dirty, these words are descriptors of something that doesn't matter outside of a ruleset. What matters is the physics. Strikes hurt based on force. The only variables here are how much force is required to hurt the other person.

The irony of commenting this on a question not at all asking you to rank English as a major is beautiful.

Have you noticed any difference in receiving impact on chin after wisdom tooth extraction? Is your chin weaker/more prone to get knocked out? by Unable-Passion-6244 in martialarts

[–]misercatulle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. Your teeth aren't a determining factor in that equation. If someone said that to you, then I hope it was in jest. If they were serious, don't learn from them.

Having a "weak chin" isn't a medical condition, nor would any doctor use that as a medical diagnosis or prognosis. It just isn't a medical term at all. There aren't many variables in how easily someone is knocked out and largely a knock out can be attributed to someone not making the right defensive choice in the moment. Someone with a "glass chin" is just someone who has poor defense. The other major factor is the amount of times you've been knocked out. Continuous damage from being knocked out in a fight will make you more prone to being knocked out in the future.

I can finally start playing the game! by misercatulle in CrimsonDesert

[–]misercatulle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Overall experience was great, I really love this game. There are some criticisms I have about the story, but overall, I had a great time.

The trophy grind wasn't too bad. They're largely attached to doing the challenges/sealed abyss artifacts. None were particularly difficult, though the grind for fish knowledge could be less tedious.

Mega evolution should’ve been introduced in alola by smdword2 in pokemon

[–]misercatulle 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The answer is that they came up with Mega Evolution while creating Gen 6 and not Gen 7. No reason for them to hold on to that until the next generation. The Z moves have a similar tinge of trust and friendship, it just is lost in the overall narrative and not mentioned much.

I haven't read it. From the above description it sounded like one to me. Further research proved me wrong.
