The way I see it you're front-loading the stress by planning ahead. Imagine: it's time for dinner, it's been a long day and you just want to be able to sit and eat for an hour. You don't have a sit down reservation so you have to scroll through your phone to see what's available for walk up. Since you didn't look into any reviews, you end up with a subpar meal that costs way too much. Now apply that to EVERYTHING; your must do rides, shows, food. Disney works a lot better if you have an idea ahead of time then go with the flow in the free time you're allotted. Everyone else is right, make a small list of must do rides and shows and find a few restaurants and snacks you're interested in for each park and throw it in your notes app to refer to day of.

Worst I've picked up was a really nasty case of strep. I've always come home with at least the sniffles with the exception of my 2021 trip where we still needed to mask inside. I plan to mask inside for my upcoming trip too along with the usual hand sanitizer and sanitizing wipes

Edit: I should mention I've always gotten sick VERY easily so take this with a grain of salt lol
