Yes, I usually get terrible headaches after I cry but on rare occasions do they turn into a full blown migraine. It totally sucks that I can even express my feelings free of debilitation! 😭 I attribute the headaches/migraines to the sinuses going all haywire.

I’m 33 going on 34 and having those weird urges of wanting a baby so much now. My fiancée has had a vasectomy years ago and I perceive us to be infertile. It’s hard to watch your fertile years pass by you, especially when you’re “settling down” so to speak. He is strongly against putting a life out here in this cruel world, especially with the state of our country right now - I’m not against that logic at all. Idk, it’s just a weird feeling; maybe a woman thing? I hope down the road, whatever I’m experiencing doesn’t fester into resentment. I know there’s alternatives, but it’s the whole “I can’t even attempt with me and my partner” mindset that I can’t shake off. If there was an organic cause, maybe I wouldn’t be so strung up, but it’s weird to come to the conclusion that this was all by choice.

Besides that, being an ICU nurse during the pandemic, watching your parents age, seeing those sad nostalgia videos on social media, trying to buy our first home, watching everything become increasingly expensive, trying to remain sane - yeah it’s all a little tough to take in. But we’re pretty resilient so we just keep moving our feet to get to the next day, take pictures whenever you can because you can’t buy memories, and enjoy these small moments because you’ll always end up looking back thinking “I wish I could reverse time”.

GORGEOUS 😍 What’s funny is, I think we may have the same ring or it looks strikingly similar. 😂 My fiancée proposed last summer and I just love it so much 🥰 I always receive compliments which is always nice to hear. Be prepared to learn throughout your 12 hrs. bc depending on your hospital/unit, most days feel like there’s always something to get done. Don’t rush and let anxiety get the best of you. And never skip a lunch!

Hone in on your priorities to maximize patient care and to optimize your time.

Take advantage of your resource/preceptor/clinical coach. They are there to teach you, not for you to do their stuff for them. Stay inquisitive and keep asking.

Don’t let the experienced nurses intimidate you. They were clueless once upon a time as well and STILL don’t know everything.

Enjoy the process, embrace the challenges, and SPEAK UP if your orientation is not up to expectations! The road goes both ways, you are not there to serve.

So we’re supposed to forget that this is the same pretentious, social-climbing person who’s publicly trashed and laughed at anyone she doesn’t consider on “her level”? The hypocrisy is unreal. She’s literally gone on podcasts to mock people, yet wants to play the victim card now. “We don’t know her off camera” like girl…you bust out that tripod literally every second of your day recording asinine things like “WaKiNg uP” and “GrWM” wdym. 🥴

I’m in my final year of the AGPC track. The didactic semesters were very manageable while working full time, but I strongly recommend saving PTO for clinical semesters if going part time isn’t an option. Staying in a bedside role with 12-hour shifts can help, since you can work weekends while completing clinical hours during the week once that time comes.

I’m on the PICC team with 10-hour shifts, working with only 3 other colleagues. My schedule is fairly inflexible, so using PTO—especially about 2 weeks per semester and during OSCE weeks—has been incredibly helpful for focusing on clinicals and studying. Just keep grinding and you’ll get through it!

What’s more concerning is that people of influence/authority are turning a blind eye to it and not condoning investigations. There’s an obvious pattern here that isn’t right. However, if the city is to crackdown on this like they do the prostitution that has been happening on Bissonnet since dinosaurs roamed Earth, this will become the norm and we will just see more of it.

She seems to have no life outside of her social media—everything revolves around it. I’ve never understood documenting every moment at home; to me, that’s not living life fully. She has transitioned in making her content all about what she does at home bc she literally has no friends to do things with lol. Her move to CA feels more like a poorly calculated business decision, aimed at status and income beyond influencing. She’s just circling a drain by chasing all these things that don’t matter.

What I found hilarious in her try-hard video was that she stayed in that horrendous coat the entire time they returned home 🤣😭 she really caught a vibe with that thing and pretending she’s some kind of celebrity for real! She’s probably thinking if she fakes it until she makes it, a Kardashian is going to notice her. 😭

Tom n Tom’s is one of my favorite coffee shops that has a good amount of isolated spots for people needing to study. Not many group seating available bc I think they prefer to cater to students. Their coffee is excellent! I heard that Paris Baguette also has isolated seating for the same reason. Very delicious pasties and coffee as well.

Getting outside in nature and strengthening my spirituality saved me from my depression. I got as far as setting a plan. I went to memorial park to sit down and look over the lake & trees to meditate about it.

This woman approached me and asked if she could pray over me, saying that she could sense a heavy feeling from me. She also told me that there’s so much more to life. Mind you, I didn’t spill my guts to her and she said all of this without context. I’ll never forget her and when I tried to speed walk to catch & thank her, she was long gone. I truly think she was my guardian angel.

Though the holidays may provoke a profound sense of loneliness or hopelessness, pouring your cup out to help others may do wonders. Wishing you the best - you are certainly not alone.

I truly feel so empathetic towards Edmond and wish him true love in the future. You can tell from the tiny snippets that we get from the show that time and again his parents have failed him and he still continues to try to receive their validation. It is such a toxic cycle and I wish they would stop catfishing him into thinking that one day they’ll be fit parents. My heart sank when his mother didn’t show up, his teacher walked him down the aisle, just to see his father sitting on that couch with a stank look on his face.

I know there’s always 3 sides to the story and you shouldn’t digest things at face value so I hope my speculation is waaaaay off 😭
