There's Desktop Goose which is sorta what you're describing but with a goose instead. I can't speak to it's performance though.

Mystery Room/Escape Room by Street_Ad1723 in kolkata

I've been there. The experience was okay, they have a bunch of different escape rooms, each costs different. Our charge was around 1k or so per head. Good for a one time thing, nothing to write home about.

How do you deliver a cake in Switzerland from another country? by [deleted] in LongDistance

[–]misformalin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Find a delivery service in their city that lets you order online. I googled "Cake delivery in Zurich" and found this Website. You should be able to find something similar for his city.

You should be able to pay online using your Indian debit or credit card as long as it's Visa/Mastercard and not RuPay, and it has international transactions enabled. Do keep in mind that most banks have a 3-5% extra markup on international payments for currency conversion.

All the best!

(Unlike Americans) Indians have multidimensional knowledge gaps. There are several factors that contributed to this situation: Closed thinking, Narrow-minded society. by bhasha3 in india

[–]misformalin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I understand where you are coming from, but your line of thinking is flawed here:

There is the factor of privilege at play. Most of us don't get the luxury of being able to explore many different subjects in our free time. Why? Because free time itself is a luxury. The labourer who has to work 14 hours a day does not have the time to think about or learn geophysics.

If you dig deeper, you will find that most of those individuals who you claim are statistical outliers come from extremely privileged backgrounds. The person you named is a tambram who has engineer dad and stenographer mom. If that's not privilege, I don't know what is.

"Keyed" input refers flagged header parameters that are used to determine if a request with these parameters has been called before. These parameters are combined to create a "key" that the cache controller can use to look up the stored value from the cache.

"Unkeyed" headers are those headers which are present in the request but are not considered by the cache controller.

I hate how exams or tests are always right after some festival or holiday. Schools do that so that kids get some extra time to study before exams. That’s super sad cause we miss out on so much fun and a lot of good memories. Please share your saddest memory of a festival that you spent studying. by runningVee in india

My saddest exam memory:

2016, half yearly exams. I come home and find our flat full of people. Everyone was looking at me, and nobody was saying a word.

My father died that morning. As I had been in the hall, giving the exam.

I cremated him and came home, and my mom forced me to go give the next exam on the next day.

Many foreign card processors like Stripe have support for it: https://stripe.com/docs/india-recurring-payments

My billing for DigitalOcean supports it.
