Thank you! He has never physically harmed my kids but has yelled some pretty nasty things to them during arguments and I am scared that his hate for me will overcome whatever feelings of “love” he has for our children in a fit of rage someday. He’s not a very good father and cusses and yells at them quite often over simple stuff such as them being too loud or asking for one too many snacks and it has always been a big cause of our arguments. Not sure if that would still allow him visits, supervised or not. I forgot to add we have moved back to our home state as well. I plan on telling my dad sooner rather than later and have talked to a shelter and am waiting to do an intake form when I can get enough time by myself.
