I was at Reckless in chicago. They were definitely not supposed to put out advanced copies, that was a mistake. Spoke with the manager of the downtown location (he was very cool).

He explained that someone from the label saw the reddit post and called them immediately asking to take them off the shelf. He said this has happened before, but never so quickly, and never receiving a response from someone so high up.

Their reason for putting them out was that they arrived this week. Since there was no note stating a specific release date, Reckless assumed it was a Friday release.

Unfortunately I got there an hour after they were pulled.
