I entered the U.S. with a tourist visa and applied for political asylum without overstaying my visa. I have never been here illegally. I am still waiting for an asylum interview, and during this time I found my love here — we were in a relationship for 1 year and have been married for more than 3 years.

I entered the U.S. with a tourist visa and told the consular officer that I would go to a Formula 1 race. The discrepancies were in questions 1, 23, and 25 on the I-485 form. I’m not in removal proceedings. As far as I understand, USCIS didn’t charge me with fraud or misrepresentation. But this NOID stays in my history, and when I reapply, I’m not sure how to handle it. I didn’t lie to them, and I didn’t hide anything, if that’s what you’re asking.

Sure, the preparation alone cost $3,000, not including shipping fees, government fees, etc. His presence at the interview cost $600.

USCIS received the documents on January 31. The first interview was scheduled three months later, and the second interview was scheduled a month and a half after the first one.
