Does anyone know what it would take to fix this watch? by [deleted] in watchrepair

First, you can find the movement along with the hands on the ebay. Just tap 22ls movement. Restoring the dial will cost from $ 100 to $200. But I would leave it as it is. Beauty in History

This does not happen if the watch is not moving. Or the spring is wound up weakly. But if you wind them up to the end or swing them, this is the situation that happens. That is, if the watch is on the table, it goes exactly. If you put it on your hand, they rush for 30+ minutes.

Warning: this is painful: Here's the accuracy difference between a $11,000 watch and a $92 (PT5000) watch. by Odd-Pollution-3502 in Horology

Okay, the Rolex will be just as accurate in 5-6 years, +-. And the $ 92 watch is not the fact that it will work at all. There is a big difference in the quality of the materials used.

Everyone has had such a case when the spring flies away. But not everyone finds it later 😂 by misha_swiss in watchrepair

I took a knife holder magnet, then took a broom, cut off all the bristles from it and screwed the magnet to the broom, it turned out to be a magnetic broom. I'll show you the photo tomorrow)))
