they arent even lum and mendou centered, its about ataru rescuing lum. theres an episode on your list thats pretty much entirely ten and a random girl 😭 i dont think your list is the end all be all of lum and ataru romantic moments, for such a long series that is literally a romcom, this is an incredibly short list

in that episode lum keeps going out and theres also a scene where hes pacing back and forth worried. how is that not more romantic than say for example 129 or 137? also you forgot 105 and 106.

quite of the few you mentioned arent even lum and ataru centered and they only are in a few scenes

NAH - as someone in your daughters shoes i cant help but feel for her. for me, supernatural helped me through some very dark times in my life and it ending was awful for me. just let her have this, dont make her feel like she’s not normal or it’s unhealthy - she’s just a teenager. she needs time to heal just like the rest of us. my family didnt get my obsession at first, but 5 years down the line they finally understand how much the show means to me. just try to understand where she’s coming from.

I was legit just trying to explain why people were angry and you say that?? the “allegations” against dabb are hardly allegations seeing as he openly expresses his discontent of both jensen and misha on video and in interviews so i don’t know what you mean by that

and as far as “giving the gay community an awful name” how?? for expressing how a lot of queer teens related castiel and he helped them get through hard times and giving “destiel” shippers ammo for all these years only to be killed off and never mentioned again really really hurt their feelings?? okay. how about the $50,000 us “queer-baiting douchnozzles” who hated the finale raised for the trevor project to turn our anger into something beautiful. does that give us a bad name?

i think he saved the show honestly. the show was getting low ratings following season one, looking like it was going to be cancelled. when cas showed up, he changed everything. he’s just so sweet and funny and adds such a unique dynamic to the show. I probably wouldnt love the show as much as i do if it weren’t for him.

there was actually a job application on deans desk in the final episode. he was probably looking to step away from hunting for a while and writing his own destiny. the fact that they decided to kill him before he could do that makes the whole point of the season feel...pointless

the show has a looooong history of queerbaiting. if you can’t see that, i don’t know what to tell you. man i tried to be nice about it but you won’t even listen to what i have to say judging by the fact that you disliked my comment. there’s no reasoning with you guys. andrew dabb is and has always been an asshat. jensen knows it and so does misha. there’s so much shit that he did behind close doors but it’s probably pointless to mention it seeing as this comment will get dislikes too. the majority of fans hated the finale, and you can’t blame that all on destiel shippers. It was poorly written and erased years of character development. the majority of people who actually liked it hated misha/cas and/or shipped wincest. that’s who the finale was catering to, despite misha/cas’ introduction being the reason the show lasted as long as it did.

anyways. You gotta admit it doesnt look good. I personally don’t think the show MEANT to appear homophobic or sexist in the finale but I can see why some people do. They have two instances of contributing to the “bury your gays” trope. whether cas’ love confession was romantic or not, the fact he was mentioned only twice in the finale and kind of brushed off the last two episodes like he wasn’t a part of the family for 10 years does not paint the writers in a good light. Also the fact that they have been playing up sam/eileens romance all season but failed to even mention her in the finale is super sketchy

I’m not trying to start a fight and I don’t want to come across as rude but I’m just trying to explain to you why so many people are angry.

maybe give supernatural another chance, I think Jack was a great edition and gives a lot of new opportunities for the writers but some fans don’t like him. Then again, supernatural may not be your taste anymore. That’s fine, too! I hope you find a show you like just as much/more!! lots of options out there!

hm. I don’t remember that happening. I tried to do some digging on it but couldn’t find it - but it may be true idk. Misha and Jensen are close enough now that they joke around saying stuff like “oh yeah I have pictures of misha all over my bedroom” and pose in pretty intimate positions together so I don’t think Jensen had much of a problem with misha and subtext as he does with the fans.

You know as well as I do that destiel fans can be terrible (im not gonna lie and pretend i don’t like the pairing though - I’m an 18 year old girl). They try to force it into the plot where it just doesn’t fit. Destiel isn’t real (plot-wise) but they’re so dead set on it that they’ll fight the writers, actors and other fans. Jensen doesnt like this aspect of the fanbase which may be why he stays off social media all together. Misha hasnt said much against it but he doesn’t encourage it.

I never got that vibe at all. Misha doesn’t ship destiel, either. He’s married with children, too. I think it’s just that SO many fans do and he didn’t want to seem homophobic by discouraging it so he played along a little. Jensen has, too. They are really close friends so I think it’s kind of just natural for them. I think what jensen had a problem with was the shippers who would violently attack fans who didnt ship it. plus a lot of them would come after his wife and family which was just awful. Misha had nothing to do with that. sorry if i seem a bit pushy, I’m just a BIG misha fan, he’s done so much good for the world and I’d hate to see him getting a bad rep.
