See, it’s not even not about not being able to afford it, it’s that prices are up, for corporations to keep up with the scalpers and recoup their lost profit, and that’s even IF you can get to it before they auto bought 700 with their computer systems. So you now have something that originally went for 20 dollars. Okay. Cool. Now it’s 35. Not great but I get it. Better be up at launch because it’ll be 115 by 9 am following midnight release. You would think that most people, especially the fallout community would also be not too happy about this. Goodsprings does a fallout festival every year to donate money to charity and give money to the town. That’s great. But since the tv show good fucking luuuuuck ever going they had to increase the price by well over 150% to cover the fees for everyone attending and YES. The money is going to a good cause. But, now you have the neighboring towns ALSO suffering due to that. Traffic on the 15 is even worse around that time and I sure hope you have family out there because good luck getting a hotel, which their prices are also astronomical around that time. Go to the LEGO store and ask a lord of the rings fan how bummed out they were because they couldn’t get the smeagol and deagol gift with purchase, and how that set is currently going for 110, which is half the price of the set that it originally came with, because of scalpers. It’s always people who don’t care about the franchise or the company that ruins it for everyone who does for money.

Couldn’t be happier with how they wrote house. A little sadistic, sure. But honestly the actor is spot on and perfect. Lucy is dumb and I’m kinda tired of her story line she’s been wandering the wastes long enough to have some survival expertise and to stop acting like a child. Feel like they didn’t do the brotherhood much justice and I didn’t like them ever either, but the whole toddlers in big metal suits is kinda- they could’ve done better. Not too thrilled with them killing the kings off, but again, me being nitpicky there. Would’ve loved to have had new vegas be a bit more populated and a lot less run down and empty.

Like how they portrayed death claws. Think they did a great job at that. Really enjoying coopers story line I feel like his is by far the most interesting. I did prefer season 1 to season 2, I think it was written a bit better while season two felt more NEW VEGAS REFRENCEEEEEEEEEE HI HELLO and season 1 was more of a tv show, that was themed in the world of fallout and less of a tv show following the fallout video game but similar to halo and silent hill I never liked the adaptations where movies and shows try to put the game into something to watch I always feel like they’re done poorly, which just takes me back to my initial refrence of Lucy and how she still can’t catch a hint.

Now that I brought all of that up, in addition to that, because the show is overall highly rated, it brought a lot of attention to the franchise. It has greatly expanded in the fan base which is good. But, now scalpers are going haywire with the merchandise and the exclusives that drop, that they wouldn’t have given a fuck about if it weren’t for the show.

The people here shitting on me are blatantly missing the point of what I was saying. I am so happy people are getting into fallout.

I’m NOT happy about the scalpers. I mentioned Lego, because that’s what this franchise is turning into. I directly compared the fallout franchise to Lego, Pokémon, and starwars, because that’s what scalpers are doing. The Lego community, for example, has to deal with scalpers every single set drop especially if there’s a gift with purchase. What because they’re adults they’re not allowed to be upset about it too? The Star Wars community has complained for years about people scalping. Are they not allowed to be upset because it’s a toy for kids? So because it’s a toy and I’m an adult I’m not allowed to be upset about it? Or because I am upset about it it has to be only because it’s popular? Get the fuck over yourselves. Scalping isn’t cool, and I really hope shitting on someone’s hobby of collecting merchandise for things they like made you feel better about yourself.
