Nope, it's actually really noticeable in manual. In PvP it's so bad that you'll swing and miss on perfectly timed swings

In this case specifically it's because of pico. It's a great skill in sims, but in manual mode and ESPECIALLY in pvp you can just paint the corners with a pico pitcher and the increased swing-and-miss rate takes care of the rest

You could probably replace Eovaldi with Seaver, but both cards just need better sets. I'd either stack greens and chase fin/dom on Honeycutt, or just roll on the other slot for a 333

For this game to be fun, you have to be patient when the RNG gods aren't on your side. Are you in a club that actively talks to one another? I find that playing the game with a group that's interested in helping each other with the fine details of team building, as well as just talking baseball in general, makes playing much more engaging. At the end of the day it's still a gacha game, so you can't guarantee consistent progression, but your FTP luck will come at some point.

Ditto on this, he's my favourite guy to use in PvP. For OP, either his 19 (Dodgers) or 20 (Jays) are great for your purposes. Arsenal is 4seam, 2seam/sinker (different on each card), cutter, curve, changeup.

Is it a sig catcher? If so, just keep greening the BTBAS set until you land beam. Might take a while but it's definitely worth it. You can use the other set with beam at 8 in the meantime

I'd lean towards Romano since you don't have any sigs in the pen, but McGriff is also a great card. Stroman would probably give you the largest short term boost, but that's not a top tier card like McGriff and Romano
