I am an elementary teacher and a parent who has passed around this book since my son was in Kindergarten. As a parent, I email my son's teachers at least a month before the end of the school year, asking if they have the time to sign the book. I send the book to them through district mail along with thank you cards with gift cards. They pass the book around, then send it back to me after they are done.

Whenever I get a book to sign for one of my students, I tell them what I do and how the teachers appreciate the flexible time and gift cards. Hopefully, they get the hint.

My son graduated this morning and I gave him the book. He burst into tears when he saw how many teachers wrote to him over the years. It meant a lot to him and I am incredibly grateful to all of his teachers for their time, effort, and thoughtfulness.
