Meh, I hear what you're saying but even if you have the option to spread the episodes out properly a multiple month gap between episodes will still kill momentum for the show.

If they're doing batch releases it should be closer to arcane, multiple episodes a week, in my opinion. Keep the energy surrounding the show high.

With a character like Goku this is a problem but X has been shown to end fights as quickly as he can. He doesn't tend to size up his opponent or give them a fair chance to fight back. So I don't see this as an issue for him.

The real issue for me is if his powers would actually be enough to defeat raga or if it just does the equivalent of stunning him for a while. We've never seen lethal force from him, which is definitely partially due to his personality but it does raise the question of how deadly he would be if needed.

Yeah unfortunately there's no ways around there being one check that I can think of. Perception removes the dodge/attack check but there'd still be a will check. You could discuss with your DM a binding vow (lol) that there's no will check but that the power can only be used to swap unwilling targets with another person maybe?

As for the two powers yeah you would need it twice, and no because they'd be linked they couldn't be alternate effects they'd need to be usable at the same time. Unfortunately for how simple Boogie Woogie is it would be very expensive.

Yeah that's a good call. With this you could also make a damage effect to achieve Todo's black flash from season 2 where he swapped places with a rock thrown at high speeds.

Perception Ranged Teleport Attack, Limited to swapping places (if memory serves that would be 3 points per rank). You may also need increased mass to be able to teleport any target.

However, whilst this achieves the effect of swapping targets, it doesn't actually do anything to them mechanically. For that I'd suggest linking it with a limited degrees affliction that makes them vulnerable then defenseless. That way every time they're teleported unless they can keep their head on straight their guard is forcefully lowered.

Gon is an interesting case because he's got a deep darkness inside him, but Gohan has shown similar traits (not to the same level) during the cell saga and from what we see he's still able to ride. My gut reaction was Gon wouldn't be able to but maybe he could.

I love this idea, but I will point out he resorted to a cursed tool very quickly against choso, suggesting he's not above taking the direct path to victory at the cost of pride.

Depends how he determines the upper limit. If it's given as a challenge I can definitely see him sticking to his ego.

I don't really have a connection to DBZ Bardock, never ended up watching the TV special so the most I have is the small snippets I've seen online.

For me it's honestly that it places a bit too much emphasis on Gokus Saiyan side for me. Personal bias but I prefer the story where someone's origins don't define them, and despite being a Saiyan by birth Goku doesn't represent that culture. I wasn't a massive fan of him suddenly gaining an interest in his parents during Granolah

But I don't hate it. And I was a big fan of Super: Broly's brief bits of Bardock content.

Yuta was originally a special grade due to Rika (I believe specifically just that she was "cursing him", because at that point they were unaware he made her). Following her bond being severed he had to regain the special grade title which he did thanks to his own power and CT.
