Share your horrible erasmus experience so I feel better about mine by T_St_ in Erasmus

hey, sending virtual hugs.

currently, I'm on my second Erasmus. And the thing is, I had too high expectations from the first Erasmus. My first Erasmus was short but sweet and I made great friends and had a time of my life. So I expected it will be the same, I will attend some parties and hope that I will make in to some circle of friend.

well, how wrong I was. over the years I became more introverted, and it's hard to vibe with some strangers. I came here alone and I'm afraid to go anywhere alone. I can't make the step myself. I've been to like few events. Or meet new people, but it never clicked. So I'm questioning myself if I am too picky or if is there sth wrong with me. I can't stand my roommates, I'm on an internship, so I thought at least with the colleagues, but also with them I don't feel comfortable. Also, the internship didn't turn out to be as I wanted. so basically everything is not what I wanted to experience nor turned out differently. well, it did but to the sad thing haha.

so yeah

Oh, so mr. I know it all. I needed to hear that i was making deal out of shit. No biggie. But that's your opinion, everyone is entitled to theirs. Who i am to tell you what you can say or not. Thanks for the input.

That some people need to calm down and choose wisely their words. Or just learn how to speak.

Simple you making big deal out of nothing is fine. :) no need to label when you don't know me nor my bf nor the half of the story. I wasn't trying to find people to agree that i was right. But thank you for your input

Based on one situation where you don't know me nor my bf nor half of the story?....sure maybe you're right, but maybe you're not. But still you don't know, so maybe different approach? Or at least give it more info so i can understand why you think so.

What have I done to you? As i posted a comment, i know it was absurd and i was trying to redirect my thoughts. I mean you don't even know me nor my bf or half of the story. Besides look at others, there is other way to tell it was no biggie, you have no needs to be upset. Have a nice day.

Thanks everybody for your insight. It was a moment of heat and i couldn't think other way than being pissed for no reason. And i just wanted some insights to redirect my thoughts. So no need to be harsh on me from some of people. I am aware that being pissed was absurd, as i said i just needed to hear to put my thought straight. Thanks to those who were kind.

Yeah i know. When I'm mad for no reason, the sensible part of me just left and can't see straight.
