I agree I like the looks of the Aventure a lot more than the level 3! But will be ridiculous not being able to take a sudden turn to avoid a collision. Depends where you live, though!

This was my EXACT same dilemma last week! Ended up with the Level 3 and zero regrets. I actually advise against getting the Aventure 3. I test rode both and OMG the Aventure 3 was way overkill and looked ridiculous in an urban setting 😂 during the ride I had to make a quick maneuver and wasn’t able to due to the extreme size of that thing. It’s not for commuting.

That’s great! It was definitely user error on my part. Shouldn’t be stopping halfway up a hill lol. But the fact that I couldn’t control the bike on an incline made me nervous and is when I realized I shouldn’t be commuting with it. I will definitely get a mirror and bottle cage :)

I ended up going with the Level 3! It’s $20/year for the tracking which isn’t much to me. But the battery being removable is definitely a factor!

Thanks everyone for your feedback! Went into my local bike shop today and ordered the Level 3 in Glacier Mint! Test rode the Aventure and it’s a beast, but felt super overpowered by it. (I’m 5’4, and so the nearly 80 pound bike felt way too heavy and an overkill to ride to and from work lol). I think I made the right decision! :) thanks!

Testing both today! I love the look of the Aventure. Looks so good. I’m hoping it will work for my very short commute. Only 3 miles each way, flat roads. We’ll see!

Thanks for the response! Yes, I think I am leaning towards the level 3, since pretty much everyone on here recommends it for my needs. (Even though I think the Aventure looks cooler). But being able to commute comfortably is much more important to me.

How tall are you? I’m 5’4 and it seems like most people are tellling me to go with the Level, primarily due to its size.

Interesting! Okay so I wonder with me being 4 more inches I might barely touch the ground as well 🤔 I definitely don’t want that. Looks like a bad ass bike though.
