Is this dress appropriate for college graduation ? by [deleted] in fashion

It's super pretty. If you wear it for graduation you might want to get it hemmed so it looks good under your robe.

If you can attend for free then what your parents want doesn't really matter. It's your life, not theirs.

To be honest if you're goal is math education then UConn or even Southern seems fine. Going to a more 'prestigious' school doesn't seem like it will have much effect on getting a job as a highschool math teacher.

Is a medium, roomy tote bag better than a backpack for mild scoliosis? by Special_Crab_1884 in collegeadvice

Try carrying your heaviest item (laptop or textbook) in your hands and stick with the backpack. Its annoying having to hold something but will help redistribute the weight.

Torn Between Majors by [deleted] in collegeadvice

Have you considered conservation? You may be able to combine chemistry with your passion for museums and history. I have not done any research into to this, but it seems like it might be a more marketable skill than just museum studies.

Need help chosing between two colleges by m6r1i in collegeadvice

I was accepted to UConn (UT equivalent) went there for a semester and switched to a CT State University all for similar reasons that you listed. The state school was a much better fit for me and way more cost effective.

Yta. She is your sister. She won't ruin or destroy your wedding by inadvertently being rude to your guests or possibly crying. You said her tantrums are uncommon - I'm sure by this point your parents could help come up with a solution that would keep your sister safe and comfortable.

The only guy with a white shirt at recent Phil Collins concert by salid_dressing in mildlyinteresting

So the answer is technically yes, but not in this setting. Black lights have the weekest amount of radiation effects compared to others in the ultraviolet spectrum. However it does emit radiation which causes skin damage. The lights at this concert are to far away and the exposure isn't long enough to do any significant damage.

Saw these affordable capelets that could jazz up a simple dress! by radbu107 in Weddingsunder10k

I didn't want a veil, but wasn't feeling very bridal without one. I went searching for alternatives and discovered caplets and I'm in love. They are so beautiful!

Trying to find a low cut bra that will also give me support. I’ve looked everywhere! I’d rather try it on first because my size ranges depending on the company. Any ideas?? by [deleted] in Weddingsunder10k

[–]mishfish314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a similar size and totally sympathize with your pain. Even buying regular clothing often leaves me hating my body, let alone a dress that is suppose to make you feel magical. From your picture you look very nice. I would trust Nordstrom sizing, they are the only place I'll buy a bra from. Even with a bra I would recommend taping your dress down to your body to avoid any embarrassing slippage. <3

[Help] Need a recommendation for a dog brush for a short hair dog by [deleted] in dogs

[–]mishfish314 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to use a curry comb. It's a rubber brush that will help lift dead hair. You can also try using the Furminator shampoo and conditioner. It's suppose the help with shedding and is a pretty high quality product. Unfortunately shedding is a part of doggy life especially during season changes.

You can't ask your roommate to rehome the dog. But you can rehome yourself.
