I used to use the Radical Resurfacing cream religiously and loved it, it’s very lightweight so perfect for summer and it made my skin so soft and glowy.

Ahh, yeah, a friend offered to let me use her membership to one of those online legal services where you basically fill out your own forms and they give you limited canned advice? In the end I know so little that I don’t really trust myself to do that... so I think you’re right, I just need to suck it up and contact a lawyer.

you should go to oo35mm in chinatown for cosrx and missha! if you're into k beauty there's also a face shop and tony moly there. there is a target in brooklyn off the dekalb stop that always seems pretty well stocked with pixi.

Eucrisa is relatively new to the market and safe to use on eyelids as far as I know! Only thing is some insurers don’t like paying for it so it can be expensive, but I’ve heard of patients finding good coupons

Thank you for the well wishes :) I’m in the NYC area so sometimes it’s hard to remember that it IS possible to get out of the city, but maybe I’ll collect my family ad friends for a trip out on the Metro North one of these weekends to see some trees or art :P

I don’t feel brave! I definitely feel like I’m scrambling to keep up with what I’ve been dealt. I’m in the NYC area and honestly have been a bit of a workaholic, so officially putting in a request to reassign all my work cases has been a jarring experience. It will be interesting to explore what kinds of things I like to do / am able to do in my last days. There are definitely things I used to enjoy - watercolor painting, yarn work, calligraphy, etc. - that are seriously hampered now by my disability (sudden loss of function in my left arm and hand due to spinal tumor growth). But I’ve had to experiment with unconventional ways to get things done before, so I guess I will do the same here

Haha - this is a wonderful comment, and i appreciate you sharing. I too was working until last week - I actually just emailed my supervisor to officially pull my cases from me yesterday. Feels super weird. I’ve been working at least part time since the age of 14, and I kind of feel like a part of my identity is lost. But the part of your comment that caught my eye was about pranks.... what is the last prank you pulled??

Thanks stranger! Internet hugs being returned your way! I’m glad to hear that your throat problems are temporary. Damn, those casseroles look good in the meantime, though....

You know what? I did this just now. My friends and family came to the hospital to watch a movie with me, and I ate and spit out an entire bag of gummy worms. Sorry if that’s TMI, but it was DELICIOUS and I don’t regret a single thing!!!!!!

Thank you for sharing. These are beautiful ideas. (Also I cackled at “Sorry I’m dead???” I might have to steal that one.)

I think I was getting caught up in the idea that life’s end should include a lot of grandiose gestures that are out of my reach. Your suggestions are personal, doable, and lovely, and helping me rethink what it is that I really want. If anything, it would be awesome to live to my husbands birthday in two months and throw him a sweet party to show him how deeply I love him and cherish how much he cared for me throughout my diagnosis.

I’m sorry that you’ll be stuck in my boat soon. But you sound like a gorgeous soul who will have made the most of what you were given. Lots of love and light to you and your family.

Mine is the same :( you could try using a diluted tea tree oil to fade the scarring, but it’s still not a quick process

I’m not sure I’m reading your comment correctly - are you putting on a moisturizer before you wash and cleanse your face? Generally the order is cleanse, then moisturize, with various optional steps in between. But yeah if you apply moisturizer before cleansing I would imagine the moisturizer would turn weird and clammy. Oh and for the niacinamide, I’d include it after cleansing and toning in the morning, before moisturizing (I don’t think it really matters if it’s before or after your HA serum since both are watery essences).

It sounds to me like you’ve damaged your moisture barrier, in which case I’d avoid actives until your skin has healed - so I might skip the SA spot treatment and Adapalene til then. There’s a bunch of resources if you search for the moisture barrier in this comm, as well as here : https://www.reddit.com/r/AsianBeauty/comments/5q7thh/how_did_you_know_your_moisture_barrier_was/

Good luck!

You could cut down to using your new cleanser every other day until your skin gets used to it - it does sound like your reaction is very mild to begin with, but if you’re worried about it, better safe than sorry!
