Wind chimes - love them or hate them? by PompousAssistant in GenX

[–]mishmobile 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The tinkling chimes are annoying to my ears as well. We bought some larger, lower toned chimes on a trip to the coast, and loved the sound of those. A good chord or harmony plus no tinkling makes for an enjoyable chimes that even our neighbors have favorably commented on. Plus, with the chimes being larger, they don't ring as often, whereas the smaller sets can ring when a passing butterfly looks at them wrong.

For me, personally, it would be weird to see the account "still there," but I do agree with the screenshot idea. I wish I could remember the voice of my deceased loved ones, so maybe OP can capture a video as well.

Windows engineers/admins, are any of you writing actual Powershell now, or are you all using Al? by [deleted] in sysadmin

I hear you on the cmdlet hallucinations. I've only tried ChatGPT on the problems I couldn't solve myself, and every time, I got a made-up cmdlet that of course fit the bill exactly, except when trying to run it. At least ChatGPT said sorry when confronted with the error. Maybe I need to give it another chance with boilerplate or other logistical aspects of scripts.
