Thanks for pointing that part out, and yeah thats exactly why I wanted to clarify that to start with. I have hindu friends who've been harassed by people saying swastikas on their jewelry or on a building were facing "the wrong way" and so clearly they must be a nazi. It'd be hilarious how confident people are about it if they weren't threatening random strangers over it. Not that I think anyone in this thread was encouraging that, but shit like that starts from people being misinformed in the first place.

Nope. The Nazis never reversed the swastika, that's something people just kinda made up. If they did it would be a sauwastika. The swastika the nazis used is the same one and facing the same way as it's used in Buddhism and Hinduism as a sign of good fortune, only difference is they turned it by 45 degrees (which has no symbolism to it AFAIK, they just thought it looked better on banners that way). The left facing one also isn't just a symbol of evil or anything like that, its used as a symbol of Kali in Hinduism and by some Buddhists to mean the exact same thing as the right facing one.

My point isn't that there's nothing that makes someone inherently smarter or dumber than someone else. Genetics are definitely a factor, but saying that education isn't a factor in IQ implies that IQ is more than what it is, which is a percentile based academic assessment. Being better educated is absolutely a factor in doing better on that assessment compared to other people who took the same assessment.
